Ciar's POV

I shut my eyes as the sword came down upon me but quickly remembered I could use my psychic powers and froze the stranger's whole body. I looked at him in anger and snatched the sword away from him. "ARE YOU STUPID?!?!" I yelled at him in anger. "Your foolish acts could have killed me!" I yelled even more before taking the sheath of his sword. "This is now mine. I don't care what you say you're not responsible enough to own a weapon like this." I informed him and unfroze him. He stared at me open-mouthed and then his face quickly morphed into one of anger.

"You can't do that! Give me back my sword!" He yelled and tried taking it but was tripped by my foot. "How bout this, You battle Ash over there and if he wins I keep the sword. He's from pallet" I offer with a smirk on my face knowing that he had no chance. "A trainer? From pallet? Easy win!" He said and stood up. He walked a good twenty feet away from us took out a Pokeball and released a Metapod. "Go Metapod!" he said. Ash smiles at me and threw a wink my way making sure misty didn't spot the action. He then took out a Pokeball releasing his Caterpie. Misty ran to the middle of the field and yelled "begin!" before rushing out again.

I saw Ash take out his Pokedex and scan Caterpie. once it was finished I saw his hand move slightly and the corners of his mouth twitch. "good moves?" I asked telepathically and he nodded slightly. I grinned and knew what would happen. I took out my Caterpie's Pokeball and released her. "Hey there, my name's Ciar and that person over there is Ash. He will be battling with his own Caterpie and I want you to watch alright?" I told her and she happily nodded after settling on my shoulder.

"Alright, Caterpie string shot onto that branch," Ash said to Caterpie who did as he was told and was now settled on the branch eyes focused on the Metapod who kept shining. "it's using Harden.. if it wants to play that game then.." Ash muttered to himself. I looked into Ash's eyes and saw that they were flashing blue every other second. He must be communicating with Caterpie through the Aura bond they share. I looked up at Caterpie and saw it swing down from the branch and smack into Metapod. Metapod rolled a bit before hitting a rock and bouncing into a tree. After the dust cleared up you could see swirls where Metapods eyes are. "Metapod is no longer able to battle, Ash's C-caterpie wins.." said Misty uncomfortable with the number of bugs out. "Please send out your next Pokemon!"

"Go Pinsir!" The Samurai wanna be said. Out came the giant stag beetle pokemon.

"Ready? Begin!" yelled out Misty and Ash instantly leaned forward giving Caterpie the signal. Caterpie reacted instantly and tied a string shot to Pinsir's horns and swung around it temporarily disabling their use of them. Pinsir struggled to snap the string and was aggressively ramming into things. Caterpie then tied the string around the beetle pokemon's small legs tying them together. Just as Pinsir was about to rush into something again it tripped falling face first into the dirt. Caterpie then used what appeared to be bug bite on it making Pinsir wince slightly.

"Caterpie tackle it and then string shot on the rock next to you!" Ash called out with a hint of joy from battling in his voice. My eyes widened when I saw Caterpie roll Pinsir over with a tackle and then smash a rock in its face by swinging it around using string shot. As soon as the rock pieces fell from the beetle pokemon's face swirls appeared in place of its eyes.

"Pinsir is no longer able to battle! The winner is Ash Ketchum of pallet town!" said Misty. I grinned and walked up to the Samurai kid who by then had retrieved his pokemon and was now looking down in defeat.

"I hope you realize that you can't judge someone's ability if you haven't met them before nor can you go around almost slicing people in half. It's quite rude. I'm sure Ash Enjoyed the battle and is looking forward to battling you again someday but we really must go. good day." I said and walked away with a hidden smug smile.

~~~~~~~~~~~Time skip~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have been walking for around ten minutes and both Ash's and my Caterpie have been getting along quite well. It was sort of relaxing to just walk down this slightly hidden road in the forest... well it was until Misty decided to smack Ash on the head. I whipped my head towards her and glared hard.
"What was that for?!" Ash whined and rubbed the back of his head.
"I may not like bugs but that was a very rough style of battling you pulled off back there. You could have seriously hurt the other person's Pokemon! How can you be so insensible?!" she yelled at him. I rolled my eyes and watched as Ash's eyes gained a certain glint of emotion. He turned towards misty and stopped walking causing me to pause as well.
"Misty, he could have retrieved his pokemon at any time. He chose to endanger his pokemon for the sole purpose of retrieving a piece of metal that he didn't use wisely. He endangered Ciar. My ma-" "I don't care! you're not supposed to fight like that! it's wron-" I got fed up with Misty treating him like this and stepped between them both.
"Misty, Ash already explained himself. If you can not respect his battling methods then I suggest you go ahead to pewter and wait for us at the pokemon center. we will be staying in the forest for a few days of training. a week at most. In a couple of hours, it should be sundown and you can make it before then. take this repel and leave." I told her and reached in my backpack handing her a repel. "But-" she tried to protest but I wouldn't have any of it. "No. Go. Leave." I said with an edge to my tone. Which got her a deep shade of red and made her snatch the bottle. "Fine," she said and ran down the road. I turned to Ash and saw him looking at me with a slightly red-tinted hue on his cheeks. I raised a brow and tilted my head.
"That was kinda hot.. the way you got mad and.." Ash said trailing off and I blinked at him in shock. "Anyways, you're right we should train and.. thanks for that," he said laughing slightly. I smiled and walked closer to him pecking his cheek. "Your welcome, my beautiful mate. Let's head that way, I saw a river and we could train there for a while." I said pointing in a direction and he grinned nodding. we both walked in the direction soon settling for the night. The days to come shall be of pure training for the gym battle to come.
