You give me your loyalty.
You give me all your hugs.
You are there when I am lonely.

You are always overjoyed to see me.
You are always first to welcome me home.
I taught you how to sit and fetch.
I taught you how to play.
You taught me about true friendship.
And how to care and share
You are there when I am poorly.

That follows me everywhere.

from morning until night.
You smother me with kisses.
With a love I can't compare.
