7- The movies

Millie's pov

It's Tuesday, and of course, another boring day. The guys sat with us at lunch again, and Finn made conversation with me. The end of the day came eventually, and Sadie was picking all of us up. I put on a black long sleeve shirt and black leggings, along with a dark red scarf. Along with that, I put on my cute bright brown boots. I walked out the door, and walked to Sadie's car. It was starting to get dark, and everyone was already in the car. I sat by the window, Grace to my left. All the guys were spread out somewhere in the car. We finally made it to the movies, and they picked the movie IT. Of course, they only like scary movies, so we were obviously going to watch a scary movie. Me on the other hand, I hate them. I don't tell anyone though. We got into the theater, and the row went like this: Caleb, Sadie, Maddie, Gaten, Noah, Grace, Me, then Finn. We all sat down, and when the previews were going, I started to tap my hand on the armrest, and tapped my foot on the ground, too.

"Are you okay?" Finn asked, looking at me. I leaned in closer to him so he can hear me.

"Don't tell anyone, but I don't really like scary movies, I get really scared. I'll still watch them though, because Sadie likes them." I said, before leaning back into my seat. I felt a hand on top of mine, stopping me from tapping my foot and my hand. I looked at my hand, and Finns hand was on top of mine. I don't know why, but I felt a weird sensation in my stomach.

"It's okay, I'll be here for you if you get scared." He said, smiling at me.

"Shut up." I said, and he laughed. The movie started, and of course, a good 5 minutes into the movie, the clown was there. I realized Finns hand was still on mine, and then I flipped my hand over, so I can hold his hand. We didn't look away from the movie as I intertwined my fingers with his.

Then, the scariest thing I've ever seen, the clown with razor sharp teeth, biting down onto the little Georgie's arm.

Well, the scariest thing in movies. I've seen some terrifying things in real life, too.

"Millie, stop resisting." He said, tracing his thumb on my cheek. I felt a tear roll down my cheek on the other side of my face, and I closed me eyes. He had me in his grasp, which I couldn't escape. My hands were tied up, but my feet were left untied. I felt him get on top of me and start to kiss me. I tried to resist, but I couldn't. Why did it turn out to be like this? I felt his hand go up my back, and it gave me chills everywhere. I felt his hand go to my skirt I was wearing, and I felt him unbutton one of the three buttons on it-

"Millie? Millie??" Finn asked me, taking me out of my flashback. I look over to him and he had a concerned look on his face, meeting my eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asked me, and I nodded.

"Are you sure? We can leave if you want." He whispered into my ear, making sure nobody heard, so we didn't interrupt them. I felt his warm breath on my neck from whispering, and it got rid of my goosebumps.

"No, it's fine. I just...got distracted about something I was thinking about." I said, looking down to his arm.

"Okay, but if you want to leave, just tell me." He said, and I nodded. He looked back to the movie, and I looked down to our hands, fingers still intertwined with each other's. His warm hands are keeping my cold ones warm with his.

More into the movie, we got to the part where they were in the sewers, and so far, most terrifying movie I have seen. I was so scared, this is the scariest movie I've ever seen. I looked over at Finn, and he was really into the movie, not distracted at all. I turned back to the movie, and decided to put my head on the side of his shoulder. I felt him look over at me, but I didn't break eye contact with the screen.

"Are you comfortable?" Finn asked me, making me look up at him. I didn't reply before he put the armrest up, and I moved closer to him. We were close enough to each other that our bodies were touching, and our hands rested right inbetween Finn and Is legs. I looked up to him, and he looked down at me. I met his eyes, and they had an expression in them, but I didn't know what it was. We didn't look back at the movie until we heard a huge boom, which made both of us jump. I put my face into Finns shoulder, definitely not wanting to see what is gonna happen next. I can't hear the clown, so I look back up, and of course, an instant jump scare. I went back and hid on the side of Finns shoulder. I squeezed my hand when I did so, not meaning to. I felt his thumb start to trace down my hand, then go back up. My stomach started to hurt for some reason, but then it quickly went away.

"Its the end, Millie." Finn said, kinda shifting his shoulder so I would look up and watch the ending. It was a cute ending, Bill kissed Beverly, and I smiled, because I shipped them since the beginning. Finn looked over to me, and I felt his stare burn into me. I looked up at him and looked into his eyes.

"Did you like the movie?" Finn asked me.

"It was okay, but the scary parts weren't." I said, and he let out a small laugh.

"That's the point of a scary movie, to be scary and good." He said, not breaking eye contact. He finally broke it, and I felt him stare at the other features on my face, like my nose, cheeks, and lips. When he looked at my lips, he quickly looked back up at me. I smiled at him, and he smiled back. Everyone started to get up, so we broke our eye contact and got up, and followed the group out of the theater we were in. We walked out, and I realized Finn and Is hands were still laced together. I quickly took my hand away from his right before everyone turned to us.

"How did you like the movie?? I loved it!!" Sadie said, smiling.

"Um, it was good." I said, and I felt Finn staring down to the side of my face. He knows that I don't like scary movies, unlike the rest of them. Sadie turns back around and we all start to walk out. I turn to Finn, and he raised his eyebrows at me. I did it back, and we continued to walk. We got into the car, and Finn and I were the last ones in, so we sat next to each other. I had to sit in the middle, and he sat by the window. Maddie sat to my left. We were listening to music, driving back, and after a while, Maddie talked to me.

"I saw you and Finn holding hands. Are you guys like...a secret thing??? You can't hide that from Sadie forever. And I can't keep that secret for you." She said, whispering into my ear.

"No!!! We don't like each other like that." I said, whispering to her.

"Okay, just checking." Maddie said, and I nodded.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Finn asked me with a soft tone to his voice, but quietly, when I was about to get out of the car. Mostly everyone had left except Sadie, Caleb, Finn, and Noah.

"Don't get your hopes up. Bye, Wolfhard." I said to him quietly, and said bye to Sadie, and got out of the car. They drove away, and when I got into my house, my mom was home, watching tv. I went up and got ready for bed, and went to bed, trying not to think about Pennywise.
