I' baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Miss me? Of COURSE you did! I mean...who WOULDN'T?!

BUUUUT, this is about one of my books that hot voted on but didn't win the votes. And if you have no idea what i am talking about...then don't worry about it. It was something dealing with mt other account and yea. SO this is just the SNEAK PEAK of the book Forever Lost.

It is about a girl who lives in this city. And it is in the future, so the city is surrounded by walls that protect them from the outside and yea...you get what I am saying...I hope. But the city gets destroyed and she has to go outside the city walls to find out the secrets her family and the founders of the city were hiding. And she does it with another survivor, William but she calls him Liam. But enough with the description, let's get to this story! WO!

Sorry if i seem  bit unfocused and...yea. I had like 3 cookies and went on a field trip. I also almost got coffee. And when i am tired and ate chocolate, i seem drunk. I know it is weird but, that is just how it is. But back to the story!

Forever Lost

How did this happen? How could this happen?

Those were the two questions that circled through my mind. Everything and everyone i ever knew was gone, and there was no bringing them back.

I covered my mouth with my hand to try and cover up the sob that threatened to come out of my mouth, but it was no use. Tears streamed down my face as a few of the 'scientist' stared at me.

"There, there," one said and pat me on the back. "They had to go in order for the experiment to be a success!" She smiled at me cheerfully. I looked at her and realized that she was serious. Another lady sent her a "you're not helping" look and pushed her out of the way.

"Oh sweetheart," she said and embraced me. I stiffened, wondering why she was being nice after she just destroyed my home and everyone i loved. "I'm sorry honey. Come with us, you will be safe." She pulled away to place her hands on my shoulders and look me in the eye. She was really pretty, and the glasses made her look sophisticated.

"Oh Sophie, stop babying her!" the male scientist who threw the bomb said.

"Shut up Dr. Stein!" She snapped.

"Carly, we need you to come with us," Dr. Stein said. "You are the only survivor and resisted the wavelengths of the sim! You are remarkable, and we would like to run some test on you."

I wasn't crying anymore, but my eyes were still puffy and my cheeks were red. I looked at him like he was crazy.

"Are you crazy?" I asked.

"No," he answered.

I scoffed and said, "You really expect me to go with you to run some test after you just destroyed my town because of some experiment?! You are disgusting! You all make me sick!" I pushed Sophie away.

"Fine," Dr. Stein said. "You can do whatever, just know that you won't live by morning all alone out here without us." He turned his back and walked away, with the others.

"You'd be surprise!" i yelled after him.

I looked back at the ruins of the city. I sat down on the grass and stared at it.

Images flashed through my mind. First of the earlier memories in my childhood. All the way to a few hours ago, where i had a fight with my parents, tear fell down my cheek. I never did tell them that I was sorry...

My city. My home, all gone. I thought. I am truly alone now. Now i got my wish, bow i don't have to see them again. What do I do now?
