Mercury was leaning against the park tree, overlooking the people and dogs playing in the area. He amde sure he stayed out of sight and not draw in so much attention. Today, he had on a black shirt with jeans. A twig suddenly snapped behind him.

"Took you long enough." Mercury snorted, not looking back.

"Oh, I'm sorry," the man snapped. "It's not my fault these drivers don't know what a green light means!"

"Alright," Mercury sighed. "What do you have for me?" He extended his hand and the man put a large, orange envelope in it.

"These are all of the reported unnatural cases from across the globe that our government recorded."

"Thanks, Jim." Mercury replied, scanning the papers.

"You really think these kids can do this?" Jim asked.

"Yeah. I mean... they have to, unless they want their parents to rule the world." Mercury added.

"That's true." Jim mused and glanced at his watch. "I have to go. Keep in touch."

"You know I will," Mercury said as Jim walked away.

"Guys, we need all 12 to do this." Evie pressed. "We need Victoria."

"I agree," Abby replied. "I'll go by her house now. Spencer, you said you wanted to tag along?"

"Yes I do!" Spencer smiled. "We can meet up at the park..."

"Sounds good to me." Kevin added.

"Hey, mind if I come with you guys?" Peter inquired.

"Sure, why not." Abby answered. She unlocked the doors to her black Cadillac. Spencer rode shotgun, and Peter got in the seat behind Abby. "So you guys should stay in the car while I go and get her." Abby mentioned, backing out.

"Uh...no." Spencer said. "I'm coming in with you."

"No, you're not." Abby snapped. "She would kill me if I came to her house with two boys who aren't blindfolded. Especially you, Spencer, you might show up at her window and look at her while she's sleeping!"

"That's... partially true." Spencer muttered. "I would come to her window at night.... but not to watch her sleep! I would be romantic you know." Spencer stated.

"Oh." Peter said. "So something cliché like throwing Hershey's kisses at her window and you two going on her roof to look at the stars?"

There was complete silence for a minute.

"That's... really detailed, Peter..." Spencer said, breaking the silence.

"Well, being the oldest among 3 sisters requires you to be detailed and direct." Peter snorted. "Girls can be real smartasses sometimes." He muttered under his breath.

"Oh, we can. And don't piss us off either. We can and will do crazy shit when we're pissed." Abby added.

"Oh I've seen you do that..." Peter agreed. "That whole food market fiasco..."

"Ahh, yes." Abby remembered, turning into a neighborhood with large houses. "Well, that boy had cheated on my friend with the girl I fought with. Let's just say me and Victoria were not happy." Abby said, laughing as she remembered the event.
