Chapter 16

"So. You like pringles and oreos, huh?" He asked with a chuckle.

"I guess. Sometimes. Actually, not really. I was just really craving them."

He chuckled again and we drove back home.

The next day I woke up in an empty bed. It was the same bed I had been sleeping in since I joined the One Direction household, however, Liam wasn't beside me and I felt lonely. I shouldn't be having thoughts like this anyway. It wasn't normal to have a guy sleep in the same bed as you when you're not even in a relationship status.

I was laying on my back when my cramps began to worsen. The pain increased by the second and my face scrunched up. I threw the duvet on the floor because I was beginning to sweat. A couple tears fell from my eyes and I groaned in pain.

I was making sounds I didn't know were even possible to make. I squirmed about on the bed, trying different positions to lessen the pain. I layed on my stomach and sprawled my legs and arms to reach the four corners. It worked for a couple minutes but then its effect wore off. I then tried a fetal position. Again, it lasted for a short while before the pain increased.

"FUCK YOU MOTHER NATURE!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Whoops, I didn't mean that.

I heard footsteps hurry up the stairs. Harry knocked the door and looked in. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at me, obviously confused as to why it looked like I was doing yoga on the bed.

"Are you alright?" He asked, concern clear in his voice.

"Does it look like im alright?" I replied, rather nastily.

I again grunted in pain.

Harry worked his way over to me, slowly and cautiously.

"Sorry, Harry. I didn't mean to snap" I said in a strained voice.

"Hey, it's okay. Do you need anything?" he asked me kindly.

"Pain killers, a glass of water with ice, a cuddly toy to cuddle with, plain pringles and Liam." I gave a list.

shit. I did not mean to say Liam.

"I-I mean j-just the water and p-pain killers, please." I hurriedly said.

Harry smirked and took one of my sweaty hands in his.

"There's no point in hiding your feelings, love. Everyone knows it." He said with a crooked grin.

"I don't know what you're talking about.. but please, Harry. Painkillers." I said.

"Oh yeah." he said and stood up.

He walked out the room and walked over to the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and wash my face. The cool water relaxed me and my morning breath disappeared. I heard Harry enter the bedroom again so I dried my face and went back into the room.

"Here you go, love." He said and handed me a glass of water and painkillers.

I thanked him and gulped the pills and drank some of the water.

"It appears that Niall ate your pringles. And unfortunately we don't have any stuffed animals for you to cuddle with, but i'll text Liam and tell him to bring some on his way home after his meeting."

I gave him a quick hug and thanked him.

"If you need anything just give me a shout." He said as he exited the room.

He shut the door behind him and I made my way over to the bed and curled up. My mind kept wandering back to Liam. Harry said everyone knows about my 'feelings' for him. That's impossible, even I don't know what I feel towards Liam. I only ever had one boyfriend but we didn't do anything serious, plus I found out that he cheated on me so I tried not to allow myself to fall for another boy until I felt I was mature enough to realise whats good for me. I built a wall around my heart and blocked everyone out. Somehow, and I don't know how they managed it, but Liam and the boys were slowly knocking the bricks off of the wall.

Time passed and the pain gradually eased. My cramps were still painful but not half as bad as they were an hour ago. I was about to drift off to sleep when I heard the front door open and Liams voice shout, "I'm home." I was about to go downstairs to greet him when I heard footsteps heading up the stairs so I just continued lying in the awkward position on the bed.

Someone knocked on the door and it opened, revealing Liam. He sent me a small smile and I returned the gesture.

"Hey" He said as he walked into the room, his hands behind his back.

"Hi, Li" I said. I sat up because he probably thought I was a proper freak in my awkward position. I groaned a little in discomfort.

"I got you some pringles." He smiled as he revealed a tube of my favourite snack in his left hand.

"Thank you so much. You have no idea how much I've been craving those for the past few hours." I said.

He chuckled and placed them on the bedside table and sat on the edge of the bed.

"I couldn't find you a teddy to cuddle with, unfortunately. But I did get you some flowers to cheer you up." He revealed a bunch of beautiful flowers from behind his back, there was roses, tulips, lillys and all sorts. I grinned like an idiot, a few small tears forming in the corners of my eyes.

"Aw, Li. You honestly didn't have to do that." I said, while a couple of tears slipped.

"Hey, stop crying, shhh." He said softly as he rushed over to the set of drawers and put the flowers in a vase. He came back over to me and sat next to me, engulfing me in his muscular arms. His scent filled my nostrils and instantly relaxed me.

"Why are you crying?" He asked softly.

"I don't understand why you're so nice to me. Nobody has ever treated me this way before. I'm so thankful and you'll never understand how much I appreciate all of this." I said.

"You're an amazing girl and you deserve to be treated in the best way possible." He said as he kissed the top of my head.

"Who needs a teddy bear when they have a Liam Payne to cuddle." I stated

He chuckled and tightened his grip on me.

"Cerys?" he asked hesitantly.

"Yeah?" I responded as I looked up at him.

"Um.. I was w-wondering.." he trailed off

"You were wondering...?" I prompted after a couple seconds.

"wouldyouliketogoonadatewithme?" he said so quickly.

I heard what he said the first time, but I wanted to hear him say it again.

"Slow down, Li. What did you say?"

"Would, y-you like to go on a date with me?" he asked.

I looked into his mesmerising chocolate brown orbs and smiled.

"I'd love to." I replied with a smile and kissed his cheek.
