Chapter 5

I'm really confused. Chase kissed me. Twice. He's not the typical player but I do know that he kisses a girl pretty quick and it might not mean that much. But it could mean something. It must mean something. But what? I'm not his girlfriend obviously. But was that a one time thing or are we gonna kiss all the time now? I tell Keira all this while we're at our lockers. She squeals when I tell her about the kiss but she doesn't have an answer for my questions either. Suddenly Chase walks around the corner. OMG. What do I do. What do I do. OMGGG. Help. "Hey Rosie." He leans against the locker in front of me. I blush but quickly compose myself. "Hey Chase." "So how was Math Class?" He asks. "Great. I understood everything! It was such a weird feeling." I laugh. "How about your English Class? Did Ms. Morell like your essay?" "Yup she said it was the best one I've ever written. Which is the truth. You're honestly amazing. I don't know how I would have done it without you." "Same." We look at eachother in silence. "Well, I need to get to class. Bye,Rosie." He gives me a quick kiss and walks away. Quickly, Noah takes his place. He doesn't look very happy. "Who was that?" He asks with a frown on his face. "Who do you mean?" I ask even though I'm quite aware who he means. "That guy who you were talking with just before I came." He says still looking pretty grumpy. Whats up with him? "Oh, him. That's Chase ." "Yesterday you told me you didn't have a boyfriend." Now it's my turn to frown. "He's not my boyfriend." "Oh so you just kissed." He says sarcastically. I'm getting angry now. What the heck is his problem?! "Umm I don't think that's any of your business! He tutors me in Math and I help him in English. Why do you care if I kiss him anyway? You're not my boyfriend!" I spit out at him. He looks taken aback and suddenly looks a little foolish but still angry. "Well..." Jasmin comes up and interrupts his sentence with a kiss. As they separate after a while Jasmin smiles at me. "Hi." I force a smile as-well. "Hi Jasmin. I better be off to class. So bye." I quickly turn and hurry to catch up with Keira. Ugh! What is Noah's problem! I thought he was nice but that just now made no sense and was totally stupid. He has no business in who I'm kissing! He's not my dad nor my boyfriend. I sit through Geography, wondering about my relationship to Chase and Noah. What does either of them want from me?!

Keira rolls her eyes. "Rose, you seriously need to get your mind off those boys. We're going to Australia next week! Remember?! And we are going to have aloot of fun. So them for a few hours and help me decide what we're going to pack!" We sit over the packing list for hours and finally we're all done. We went shopping earlier and now our suitcases are crammed to the bursting and we're happy. What will Australia bring?
