Water's Light (Sting x Reader)

You kept your eyes on Sting the entire time of the first game.

"Take a picture it'll last longer." Sting smirks at you.

"You wish idiot." You spat out at him.

"So how do you know him again?" Lucy asks.

"It's a long story, came back from a job met both of those dragon slayer jerks, then when I was training he saw me naked and what not-" you begin to explain.

"HE WHAT!?" Natsu, Erza, and Lucy all say at the same time.

"Not what it sounds like trust me." You say in a calm tone.

You look back at him and you two make eye contact he sticks his tongue out at you and you turn away quickly feeling the heat at your (S/C) skin color* cheeks.

Gray was getting his butt kicked by that Pudding Guy. Why is Raven Tail doing this, this family feud might be bigger than you thought.

That person with the long nose and the little creature next to it gave you the creeps especially.

In the end, Gray lost and Fairy tail team A and B were the last two teams.

"Some start" you sigh looking around the arena.

Next are the Battle Royal,  Lucy was going up against that creepy Flare girl. The battle was so intense, turns out Flare threatened Asuka luckily Natsu got their in time. Lucy was able to say the words to her new spell but unfortunately Raven Tail cheated once again.

"This is so not fair they're cheating! Lucy!!!" You yell out with tears slowly forming in your eyes.

"Calm down (Y/N), she'll be okay." Erza comforts you.

From afar you don't notice but Sting is glancing at you with sad eyes for a few moments.

"Take this loss with pride children!!" Master Makarov says.

"Master is drunk" Levy giggles.

"You can say that again." You say drinking your beer. The liquid calms your nerves and you lay your head back in the chair fir some shut eye.

Today was a long ass 1st day you. You were rudely awoken by the sound of the floor breaking.

"Is that you Bacchus?" You hear Erza say.

Isn't that, that guy Erza told you about a while ago?

"(Y/N) you look a little out of it let's just go back to the hotel." Joy grabs your crop top and flys you out the bar.

"Goodnight guys" you say as you leave.

They send you and Joy off into the night.

"Joy I can always count on you." You says giggling and closing your eyes.. You might just be a little buzzed.

"Of course...oh look who it is." Joy says in a sly tone.

You open one eye and see Sting and Lector in front of you.

"Oh you two."  You roll your eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean??" Lector says in an offended tone.

"Hmph" Joy looks away.

"Your team did interesting in the games today." Sting says.

"I'm not in the mood today Sting..just keep your stupid comments to yourself." You say sighing in the end. Joy continues forward.

You notice that him and Lector are following you.

"And your following us because?" You questioned.

"Just making sure your alright jeez I have feelings too." He chuckles.

You stay silent for a moment just staring at him. You look away as soon as you two make eye contact.

"Weird." You thought.

For once you felt safe around him.

You made it to the hotel and Joy sat you down on the ground.

"Well thanks for sorta walking us home." You say looking somewhere else but him.

"Don't mention it. Can't wait to beat you in the games." He says smirking.

You smirk back. "I wouldn't act all high and mighty pretty boy." Giving him one last smile you walk into the hotel, closing the door.

It's day two of the Games and you were so glad you didn't participate in the first game. It was a Vehicle type game and for dragon slayers that's pure hell.

Out of all the dragon slayers Wendy was so lucky she doesn't have it. Your not as bad as the boys,  you can handle any vehicle if it's not going to fast. You especially hate trains.

The next Battle Royals were up.

"Fairy Tail Team A's (Y/N) (L/N) and Bacchus Groh!!!" The announcer says.

It was your time to shine!!
