AFTER that short battle, made possible by Fyre, Ashley retreated to a mountain region in the Philippines with him. Together, they built their own happy world.

"The Vampire Kingdom is indebted to you, Kinari. So, whatever you desire, I shall grant it," Hawnt, the Vampire King, said. He was seated in his throne, a palace that was in a secret place in Europe.

Fyre looked at Ashley and smiled. "She's all I want. She's all I desire."

Ashley looked at him lovingly before she moved her gaze to her maker.

"So, you found and understood now that word I told you about half a millennium ago," Hawnt meaningfully said to Fyre's beloved vampire. Both of them remembered that time they walked in the hallway in his underground home in the Carpathians.

Ashley smiled toothlessly. "I was not merely able to find it or fully understand it, but I also experience it right now, Hawnt."

Hawnt gave her a wide smile before he let them go.

As for the rest of the rebels, they were given a chance to live but in a prison situated on an island where no one could escape, except for Tavar and Obsedia who were pardoned and were given the chance to live freely. Ashley vouched for the two, thus the Vampire King's decision.

WHILE walking hand-in-hand, Ashley and Fyre stopped to watch a waterfall near their home in the forest. Fyre already told her about what happened to his friend and his lover and how it ended up. It was truly a sad story.

"Don't worry. I won't die on you," Ashley assured him. Her right hand cupped his left cheek.

He looked deep into her chocolate eyes. He looked so serious. "I wish every day that I won't ever get to hold a golden jar in my immortal life."

She laughed at him for a moment and gave him a lingering kiss on the lips. He kissed her back fervently as his arms were wrapped around her small waist.

Meanwhile, Yoko turned into a mist and wrapped herself around an innocent tree as she watched the lovers in envy...
