"Ezra, psst Ezra wake up."

The boy opened one of his eyelids and almost freaked out to see Sabine standing over him. He opened his mouth but Sabine clamped a hand over his lips.

"Not here" she hissed.

Ezra nodded and Sabine removed her hand. The Mandalorin made a motion for him to follow and the boy went after the girl to her room. Locking the door behind her, Sabine faced Ezra with a very serious expression on her face.

"What I'm about to tell you stays between you and me, got it?" She said, her voice a whisper.

Ezra nodded and the girl seated herself at her table. Ezra followed suit.

"So why do you change into a wolf?" Ezra asked quietly.

"It's something I've been cursed with since I was bitten by a werewolf" Sabine replied.

"How old were you?"

"About six. The blasted creature got my right arm. It happened on Krownest. The wolf was huge..."

"Can't catch me Tristen!" A young Sabine laughed as she ran through the woods of Krownest.

Tristen sped up but only tripped up on a tree root. Stumbling to the ground, the boy rubbed a fresh graze along his arm. Sabine saw her brother had fallen and quickly stopped running.

"Are you okay, Tristen?" She called.

Tristen looked up and his eyes widened in fear.

"Sabine behind you!" The youth screamed.

The girl swung round to see a large, black and brown wolf with dark eyes and lethal claws meters away from her. As soon as their eyes met, the beast snarled and sprinted towards Sabine, jaws wide and saliva flying from its mouth. Sabine screamed and ran towards Tristen who was on his feet and had grabbed a tree branch.

"Keep away from my sister you mangy brute!" He yelled lobbing the wood at the wolf.

It smacked the enormous predator in the forehead making it skid to a halt. Sabine ran to Tristen's side and the boy put his arms around his sister. The wolf placed a paw over its pounding injury before growling and slamming its paw back on the snowy ground. Tipping its head back, the wolf gave a long, blood chilling howl.

"Run Sabine! Run!" Tristen ordered grabbing another tree branch and getting ready to fight.

Sabine, who was crouched next to her brother leapt to her feet and obeyed. Sprinting back to the house. However, she found herself looking back at Tristen. The youth was tiny compared to the large, menacing size of the wolf. He wouldn't last long. As if to prove a point, the wolf grabbed the boy's tree branch in its deadly teeth and crunched it into splinters. The beast smacked Tristen into the trees with its large front paw where the boy collapsed to the ground. Winded with his back aching. Sabine gasped as the wolf prowled towards him, snarling angrily.

"No!" She screamed running forward.

Before the wolf could latch it's teeth around Tristen's neck, Sabine jumped in front of him. Her scream pierced the air like a knife. Sabine dropped to the ground, cradling a heavily bleeding right arm. The wolf slunk away, tail swishing as it disappeared into the undergrowth.

"The feeling of the wolf's teeth in my bone was the worst pain is ever experienced. Describing it is impossible" Sabine sighed.

"I don't know how I didn't die from blood loss though."

"So you got bitten while trying to save your brother" Ezra said

Sabine nodded.

"That's...heroic."

"No, it was stupid. I should've grabbed a branch or something and thrown it at that wolf" the Mandalorin sighed.

"Why didn't you blast it?"

"I was six Ezra. Do you really expect me to have a blaster at that age?"

"Yes."

Sabine raised a brow and Ezra decided to go back to the history.

"So is there a particular full moon that changes you?" He asked.

"Not really. It happens every time there is a full moon, it dosen't matter what planet I'm on, I'll change into a werewolf. I'm savage, completely out of control. I almost killed my own brother when I transformed once."

"Karabast" Ezra stared.

"It happened after I ran from the Imperial Academy. Tristen followed me the stupid idiot..."

Sabine panted as she ran through the streets of Mandalore. Trying to find a ship she could steal to get off the planet. Her right arm was tingling as fur slowly rose from the skin. She skidded to a dead end.

"Kriff" she muttered in frustration.

"Sabine!"

The girl froze and swung round to see Tristen approaching her.

"Tristen? What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Finding you. What are you doing here?"

"I'm..."

Sabine knew there was no point in lying. Tristen could read her like a book.

"I'm running away" she admitted.

"Is this because of your... transformation problem?" Tristen asked carefully.

"It's not just that Tristen. You..you wouldn't understand! It's complicated" Sabine said.

She suddenly gave a gasp and clutched her right arm, pain was shooting through it.

"Sabine?" Tristen asked going forward.

"Stay away from me Tristen!" Sabine ordered, backing away.

"I'm a danger."

"Not to me."

Sabine gave a scream and collasped to the ground, clutching her head as the transformation began.

"Sabine!" Tristen exclaimed.

"Go Tristen!" Sabine yelled.

"Leave me! I'll only hurt you! ARGH!"

Sabine screamed as her arms and legs grew to an even size, hair sprouted from all over her body, ears pointed out from the top of her head and a tail burst from her behind. Sabine panted heavily before looking up at Tristen, eyes a deep amber.

"S-Sabine?" Tristen stuttered nervously.

The wolf snarled and ran straight at the Mandalorin.

Sabine stared at the table, arms crossed.

"I'll never forget it" she said softly.

"The look of terror in Tristen eyes as I went to kill him."

"And did you?"

"No...but I did kill many others."

"What do you mean?"

Sabine sighed before explaining...

Yeah I'm exhausted. Its past eleven at night. I'll publish part 2 soon.
Bear with me.
