Your boyfriend, Gerald, took you out for diner after his show. You had just arrived.
"It's warm." Gerald said after running his hand through his hair.
"It's not, you just shouldn't have hurried" you laughed.
"How could I not hurry when I know you were waiting for me..?"
"I could have waited a little longer, sweetheart."
He places his hand on top of yours.
"You could have, but I don't like to keep my wonderful girlfriend waiting."
You keep quiet for a bit, just staring in eachothers eyes.
