"Why would you do that, Tommy?"you screamed, crying.
Noticing the vulnerable look on Tommy's face made yours soften.
Tommy had just killed a man. You were an undercover agent and Tommy knew about it, but he also knew you wouldn't do anything to bring harm to him or his family. So actually you were being an undercover agent for him, instead of the police.
Inspector Campbell told you to kill a man. You had never killed anyone before and Tommy knew how hard it was for you, he noticed you were scared.
That's why Tommy killed the man, for you.
"I think... That's what I do. I think... so that you don't have to."
His words made your knees weaken. The things this man would do for you to keep you from being sad and wrecked.
"You shouldn't have done it! This could get you in huge trouble!"
You were now with your back facing him. So you didn't notice Tommy walking up to you, only to hug you from behind.
"You know I can handle these kinda things, (y/n). Don't be mad at me for what I've done. And for the record, they won't find out I did it, I made sure of that."
You slowly turned around, eyes all red and watery.
"I'm not mad. Hell, I'm as thankful as I can be. You know how I would've reacted if I'd done it myself..." you both chuckled.
