Running for love

Run that's all I could think about....

   My name Clarissa Adele Fray "Clary" for short, for weeks going on months now my brother Jonathan Morgenstern has been hunting me down along with a force of Ravener demons. My destination to keep safe is the New York Institute. The institute is run by Maryse Lightwood my mothers friend from the nephilim's home land Idris. My mother Jocelyn Fray lived here until my father, Valentine Morgenstern killed her. But all I could think about now was the four blocks separating me from the New York institute the one thing that could save my life from my brother Jonathan. I ran up to the front steps of the institute I knocked on the door the Ravener demons footsteps getting closer and closer. The door opened I saw a man around sixteen or seventeen with blonde and gold locks of hair surrounding his face. The best way to describe him was a golden angel. He had black runes up his arms to his neck, he asked me           "what do you want?" before I could answer I felt like I was falling. His arms caught me before everything went dark.
