Clary P.O.V

Darkness..... Darkness was all I could see but I could hear beeping noises around me. Well I thought to myself, I must be dead this is what death must feel like. "Clary" I heard my name being called. That's when I opened my eyes. "Jace" I said almost like a whisper. "Oh my God Clary" Jace ran to my bed and pulled me into a tight hug.

6 hrs later

"How long did you know you were pregnant" Jace asked suddenly. "W-what?" I asked. "Clary I found the test, don't lie to me". I sighed "I knew a few weeks before Jon took me". Jace looked like he was about to cry. "Jace I'm sorry I didn't know if you wanted a baby" I said tears streaming down my face. "how could you think I wouldn't want the baby, it's something that is apart of us and I want a family of mine to keep forever". He walked over to me and placed a hand on my stomach. "Forever" he said.. " Forever

7 months later our baby girl Aspen Herondale came into the world. Jace looked at her with so much love that it made me want to cry. She has golden blonde hair and green eyes that illuminate. I got up from the bed to check on the baby. When I got in Aspen's room I saw Jace in a chair holding Aspen both asleep. I smiled to myself. After all those months of running from Jonathan it was worth it. I thought I was running from evil but yet I was running for something greater. I was running for love
