Richie and I continue to lay down in his bed and talk about anything and everything.

"I should go home and get ready for the bar mitzvah now, I'll be back in a little" I tell him while getting up.

"Okay, come back over when you're done" He tells me while sitting up too.

"Okay" I say giving him a smile as I begin to walk away.

Richie grabs my wrist and pulls me into a small hug.

He sends me mixed signals honestly. One moment, he'll say we should be friends, and the next he's calling me 'babe' and hugging me and stuff.

I then collect my skateboard and leave to my house to change.

I quickly change into a black dress with floral designs on it and took my hair out if it's braids, leaving it wavy. I also put on some lipstick that is a small shade darker than my natural lip color.

I leave to Richies house once again. I open my door and see Richie sitting at my piano playing a few keys.

"What are you doing rich?" I ask him as I sit beside him at my piano.

"Waiting on you" He tells me with a smile.

My fingers hover over the keys for a second and Richie removes his hands. I begin to play 'Time After Time' by Cindy Lauper, probably my favorite song ever.

"Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick and think of you" I begin as my fingers guide over the keys and I focus on playing the song.
"Caught up in circles- confusion is nothing new
Flashback- warm nights- almost left behind
Suitcases of memories, Time after—" I skip the rest and go to the chorus.

"If you're lost, you can look and you will find me" I continue to sing and play as I look at Richie who was already watching me. We lock eyes and are captured in each others gaze as I continue to play and sing lightly.

"If you fall, I will catch you I'll be waiting, time after time" I sing and stop playing. I'm locked in on  Richie's eyes that are slightly larger due to his thick glasses. All of a sudden, he leans in and quickly crashes his lips on mine.
I raise my hand to his face and Richie does as well. We pull away, our faces only inches apart with me smiling.

"Uhm, we should probably get going. Stand bar mitzvah and everything..." I tell Richie, looking away.

"Y-yeah. Let's go" Richie says as we get up from the chair and to our 'rides'. We quickly make it to Stan's church and await for the beginning. We sit side by side on the pew as Richie rests his arm on the back of my seat.

Once everyone is seated, stan begins his reading of the Torah. I am so proud of him, because whether his father believes it or not, stan really studied and tried his best. The Torah was very challenging for him to read.

Once he read, he began his speech and it was very meaningful and it was truthful. I only wish the rest of the losers would have been here to hear it though.

"When you're a kid, you think that you'll always be... protected, and cared for. Then, one day, you realize that's not true. If you open your eyes, you will see what we're going through. 'Cause when you're alone as a kid, the monsters see you as weaker. You don't even know they're getting closer. Until it's too late."

Although not everyone realizes it, Stan was talking about the clown. He knew it, I knew, everyone in the losers club knew that when we were separated, we were weak. We all stand united together and we complete each other. We are powerful together, we could defeat anything.

But just as stan said, we are weak without one another. We aren't always protected, we aren't always cared for, but together we are. We needed to get the losers back together again, we needed to be untied once again if we wanted to stay alive.
