Exactly one week later

RING RING!!! "Hello?!" It was my mother calling. "GRACE YOU THERE?!?!" "Yeah why are you calling me it's 3AM?! Is everything okay?" "No everything is not okay I got up to get a drink of water and Blair is not in her room. She never came home from her choir rehearsal and it got over at ten!" I could hear my mom trying not to burst into tears. She was always an emotional women but could keep her cool in a dangerous situation like this. "Okay" I said still trying to comprehend what I just been told. "I'm on my way."

I pulled up to my parents driveway and police cars were everywhere. "Mam you can't come in here right now" an officer tried to tell me. "Umm Blair's my sister and it's my house I'm going in if I can or not!" I barged past him and ran into the living room. I saw my mom sitting on the couch answering questions to the detective my dad was in the other room doing the same thing. I immediately ran to Blair's room I was always good at investigating even though I was a lawyer. I was going to be a detective but my number one focus in life is becoming a mom and in my opinion a detective is a way to dangerous job for a mother. As I walked into Blair's room there was nothing unusual except for one thing her mirror was slightly diagonal. Blair was a perfectionist she gets it from me everything in her room had to be perfectly in order and straight. Her room was always neat and tidy as if it has come out of a magazine but this time it was different not too different but different enough to know something was up. Her mirror was perfectly tilted enough to see the reflection from her window. That wasn't all Blair's scheduled was perfectly mapped out but it wasn't where it usually was. When she left my house Saturday she called me later that day and asked if she left it that day I told her I didn't ever see her with it and that she never brought it over. Blair took her planner everywhere but she would never lose it that thing was how she didn't go insane with her busy life. Between choir, dance, cheer, and piano lessons Blair really had no time.

As I continued investigating I noticed Blair's cheer uniform hasn't been touched since her last practice. Her practice is tonight and she has a game tomorrow she would never miss a practice on purpose. That's when I new something was wrong Blair didn't just run off to a friends or guys house like she does whenever she gets a burst of rebellious energy.( I did the same thing at her age) this was different someone else is involved. Then I noticed her window was cracked open... Blair would never leave her window cracked open while she was out all day she hated bugs, and lately especially she's had the thought that someone's been watching her. Now I'm starting to think that maybe she was right. There's something more though outside of Blair's window there's a tree and I saw something white. It was a piece of paper from Blair's planner I knew it was from the planner cause the sharpie colors were pink and grey her favorite combinations of colors to make her schedule. I opened the window and climbed out clutching onto the tree I could barely see the sun was barely out and I was slipping cause I was wearing heels. I finally got my hands on the paper and I got back inside. I opened it slowly then I realized it was her schedule for the day before yesterday. Someone had her planner and new exactly where she would be last night. Blair was right someone has been watching her the question is who?
