Lucy's POV

(1 month later)
6th of December marked nine years since the murder of 15 year old Alex and the uprising of December 2008.On the day protests against police violence took place across greece.
Remember.remember the 6th of December. Almost every major city or town had a demonstration against police and state violence.Almost every demostration led to clashes with police forces and arrests.
Because nine years ago Alex was murdered in cold blood from a cop with no resonable explenation.
So I was there.I'm the perfect rebel, too unlikely to be taken seriously until it's to late.Maybe I will catch a bullet in few years or some other fate, but like Alex there are folks who don't even live to see my age or have a fraction of the amount of love in their lives that I've already had,so who am I to hide under a rock?I won't shut up and I won't put up.
I feel alive. I am one step ahead of them.I froze.I was infront of the Public store,my face was covered but I felt exposed, like I was back in that day again. Some guys with hoodies attacked the store with stones and molotovs.
I felt bad,not so much because they destroyd public property, but because I was there one month ago doing unforgivable things. But now they were doing worst infront of the police. That was bravery or stupidity?
"Are you Okey?" Anna said. She was my best friend. We had what we called 'connection' and we understood when something was wrong..."I will better get going,I am not feelling well!" "Are you sure?"
I turned my head and I saw the familiar employer yelling at those kids..."Yeah,I am so sorry Anna..." "It's okey I will cover you..."
So I left. The bus was full. Some read newspapers, articles like 'Episodes at the center started last night' or '15 year old murdered nine years ago' or 'Erdogan visit to Greece comes against a backdrop of turmoil'.
I took a sit after a while and I saw him.The most handsome boy  I've ever seen. His eyes were a mesmerising deep ocean blue, flecks of silvery light performed ballets throughout. His face was strong and defined, his features molded from granite.
He had dark eyebrows, which sloped downwards,in a serious expression. He was sitting next to me.
He was like the guys I wouldn't date even in my wildest dreams.
I took out my book for distraction."Bakounine,I see..Where you at the demonstration?" His voice was deep with a serious tone.I turned and caught his eye.I looked around to make sure he was talking to me,"Obviously..." I said, and that was a reminding that I was not good at starting a conversation! "Wow calm
down...I don't bite..." "I'm sorry.I am not very well as you can
see." "I am here, you can talk to me if you want to..." "dude,I don't even know you!" "Right...How silly of me,I am Evan." "Lucy..." I said and I was impressed with myself that I didn't use the name Sophie that I always use on strangers.Probably because I hate my name."What a lovely name!" I Ignored him..."Where you at the demonstration?" It was my turn to ask. "No,Alex was just an inocent kid,not a hero!" "Yeah...That's why the demonstration is happening..." "Okey...chill!" He had guts that is for sure..."I already told you I am not okey so if you want to break my nerves I would recomend to find someone else to bother." "I am sorry I didn't mean to disturb you!" "apologie exepted..."I said and I turned my face to my book again,I was impressed that, this random guy knew Bakounine but I desided to take that thought away and concentrate to my book...
"Do you believe in god?" Here he goes again,he is the most  extremnly annoying human beeing I've ever met."No,religion is the impotence of the human mind to deal with occurences it cannot understand."He smirked "Don't you try to impress me with Karl Marx!"So he knew Marx aswell! He was more intersting that I thought before..."Correct...Do you believe in god?" "Yes.I am in a Christian caholic brotherhood..." I wouldn't have guess that in a million years! "Oh
...I get It now...That's why you are talking to me,those brotherhoods have only hot blonde dudes to seduce young girls to join them..." I realised that I said that atloud but I didn't care so much.I hate everything it has to do with our religion! He laughed..."It is never to late to follow the right path...Anyway that's not the reason I spoke to you!" "I prefer to be left.I will remain faithfull to my ideals thank you..." I said too politely for my standards! "Just imagine that Jesus and Karl Marx walk into a bar together—what would their conversation be like? I said that Jesus is deep down a communist." "Sure, are you done yet?" "I am not the guy that easily surrenders'" "Why don't you find somebody else?" "Because you seem far more intersting..." "I am not what you looking for!" "Okey whatever...I am giving you my favourite book The Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior,I promise god has nothing to do with it!Read it.I have already read it ten times!" "I don't need it thank you..." "You must!" He said and he left.Just like that.

Hello! So nobody is reading my story so far but I really like to restore all those memories! So I will continue writing it!Just for you to know.At my real life I never saw that stranger again but in this story I will do a combination with another person and he will be Evan...So don't worry. Also the title is from a greek song.♡
