witches used to rule.
until the humans began the hunt,
and killed any witch that they could find.

now, there are only a few dozen witches left,
the sad remnants of a once powerful kingdom.
scared and hunted,
most witches stay in hiding.

because they're burning all the witches...
even if you aren't one

authors note

the witches in this book are very much inspired by how sarah j. maas portrays them in her throne of glass series; they are blood-thirsty, dangerous, and beautiful creatures. however, the plot remains my own, and this book is not a part of her universe.
the poetry of amanda lovelace from her book "the witch doesn't burn this one" is often used in this book. i do not own any of her poetry.
