authors note
the witches in this book are very much inspired by how sarah j. maas portrays them in her throne of glass series; they are blood-thirsty, dangerous, and beautiful creatures. however, the plot remains my own, and this book is not a part of her universe.
the poetry of amanda lovelace from her book "the witch doesn't burn this one" is often used in this book. i do not own any of her poetry.-marlene young
