Chapter 1 (the introduction)

[Jade's POV]

Hi I'm Jade I am 22 years old and I live in the state Texas. I was born and raised on a horse breeding farm. I always loved the freedom I had with the horses. But everything changed when I went to high school. I never really liked being in town, there were so many people. When I had to go to high school that was in the city. I had great friends but we were different from the other kids. We where called "the geeks" and those were freaks.

After a while I started gaining weight. I had to go to a health nurse and she told me to start eating healthier, but I loved my chocolate. I was a disappointment to my parents and my sisters. I never became the daughter or sister they wanted me to be. Because i loved other things than they did.
They were always making fun about my weight. I became insecure about myself, I acted normal but every time I ate something I threw it back up behind a shack on the the farm where nobody came.

I almost had depression, the things that kept me out of it was my music and my friends. The horses I was training helped me clear my mind because school was a whole lot of stress.

But that was when I was a lot younger, now i am 22 years old and a little happier. I think that is because i am no longer in school. I graduated this summer, but I haven't been looking for a job. Because I still work at my parents farm, I do have my own little cottage closer to the stables.
