Unique

8/12/2017

There is only one of me. I am unique.

Psalm 139:14 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;[a]
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.

My calling is different. My anointing is different.

Psalm 139:16 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

Ephesians 2:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

The Lord is the judge, not I.

His thoughts and His ways are higher.

Isaiah 55:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)
8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

I am called to be a teacher of His Word. Am I called to be a prophet or an apostle? I am a psalmist, writing all these psalms (poems) by Him. Could I be a prophetic psalmist?

Matthew 22:14 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

1 Corinthians 12:29-31 New King James Version (NKJV)
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

Whatever my calling or gifting, I am made to praise and worship God, to bring honour and glory to Him.

I am to live in His peace, love and joy with no negative thoughts or emotion.

Philippians 4:6-7 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

My primary aim in the kingdom of God is to encourage and build the body of Christ through the gifts that He has given me.

An Apostle is to spearhead the movement. An apostle is at the lowest place (humble) to support the body of Christ.

What is the target?
The target is people, believers and non believers, to turn their hearts back to God in repentance.

What is the aim?
To prepare the bride and prepare the way for the Lord, just as John the Baptist.

John the Baptist was great in the sight of the Lord.

Matthew 3:1-3 NKJV
3 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! 3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:
The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make His paths straight.

John 3:27-36 New King James Version (NKJV)
27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. 28 You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but, I have been sent before Him. 29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegrooms voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. 33 He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. 34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

Luke 1:15 New King James Version (NKJV)
15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mothers womb.

Jeremiah was a prophet to the nations, though none heeded his message, he did not stop preaching the Word of God.

Jeremiah 20:9 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Then I said, I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name.
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.

Do not compare yourself with others.

2 Corinthians 10:12-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 13 We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed usa sphere which especially includes you. 14 For we are not overextending ourselves (as though our authority did not extend to you), for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ; 15 not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other mens labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere, 16 to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another mans sphere of accomplishment.
17 But he who glories, let him glory in the Lord. 18 For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

Run your own race against yourself.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 New King James Version (NKJV)
Striving for a Crown
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Jeremiah 12:5 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you,
Then how can you contend with horses?
And if in the land of peace,
In which you trusted, they wearied you,
Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

Isaiah 40:31 New King James Version (NKJV)
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Rest in the Lord.

Psalm 37:7 New King James Version (NKJV)
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

Matthew 11:28-30 New King James Version (NKJV)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke iseasy and My burden is light.

He is the one who does the work.

Isaiah 64:4 New King James Version (NKJV)
4 For since the beginning of the world
Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear,
Nor has the eye seen any God besides You,
Who acts for the one who waits for Him.

Obey the Lord.

John 14:15-17 New King James Version (NKJV)
Jesus Promises Another Helper
15 If you love Me, keep[a] My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Footnotes:
John 14:15 NU-Text reads you will keep.

Bold and strong in the Lord. The Lord is with me.

Deuteronomy 31:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Isaiah 41:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
