The Choice

On that dark and gloomy night
I was asked what was to be my plight
To be in the wrong or go in the right
Was a choice I had to make that night
Only one was I to choose
In the wrong I would stand to lose
There is only One who is right
He is the Bright Shining Light
To love one is to hate the other
I cannot have both on the same platter
To choose God over mammon
Would render me a blissful freedom
