OK this will start with Artemis POV but then later on it will switch to Pamela's... Enjoy
Cue the song" Skyscraper " by Demi Lovato..
**********
A young bruised Artemis slowly walks into the school while clutching her books tightly against her chest in an attempt to ignore her throbbing ribs. They weren't broken but it still hurt from last night's beating. Thankfully her hoodie and sweat pants were big enough to hide her bruises otherwise she would have hell to pay later on at home. Honestly, she was suffering already enough.
Everyone in the school were coming in and moving around happily. Artemis envied their happiness, gosh when did things go horribly wrong in her life?
Suddenly she bumped into someone and in the process, scattering her books everywhere. With a wince and grimace, she bent down to pick up her things."
"Hey I'm sorry about that."
Artemis knew that voice anywhere so she didn't even want to look to see the face of Pamela, the one other person who could reduce her to a crying mess. Because she was so caught up in collecting her books, she didn't notice that her hood had rose up to expose her face.
"Artemis? What happened to your face?!"
Artemis stiffened before pulling the hoodie completely over her face and grabbing her books,"Nothing, I fell down the stairs."
Typical excuse for an abused child.
"It looks like someone punched you in the face and slapped you around." Said Pamela as she stood and handed over her books.
Artemis shook her head,"No,its nothing, just forget it OK?"
With that she turned only to bump into a younger Johnny whose hands shot put to catch her before she could fall.
Immediately, pain shot through her as Johnny unknowingly grabbed her right where her bruises were.
"Ahhh, let me go!" shrieked Artemis as she pushed Johnny away before running away down the hall. Even if it hurt Johnny,it was best that he didn't see her. Not when she looked like an accident.

Everyone in the hall watched her run away in confusion.
"Johnny! What did you do?!"exclaimed Pamela as she hit Johnny's shoulder. She yelped and clutched her hand, darn it felt like she was hitting a brick wall," Wow, what have you been eating? You're like a wall of stone."
Johnny frowned in confusion," I am going to ignore that last statement but honestly, I just tried to stable Artemis but when then she screamed as if I had broken her arms."
"Did you? Maybe you grabbed her little too tightly? I mean, you are an athlete, right?" asked Quin.
Johnny glared at her," I know my own strength Quin, I'd never hurt her."
"Are you sure ? Because you were like an iron wall now that I think about it," Pamela shot back as she blew on her hand.
Johnny then gave a tired sighed before running a hand through his jet black hair wearily," Girls I'm getting worried about her."
"Why? Did something happen?" asked a concerned Nella.
The poor boy shrugged helplessly, "You tell me. I haven't seen her or hung out with her ever since the year started. Every time I call her house , her dad tells me to get lost....Guys I even heard from the neighbours that sometimes ,they can hear screams coming from the house."
