Chapter 30: Maybe

Chapter Thirty

The small moment of what I recalled "impossible" had occurred and enveloped the two of us just as my trembling lips were pressed against his. Although it was impossible to imagine to become true, I still couldn't deny how "right" it felt.

I thought I could catch myself maybe once more as I flinched and quickly pushed Baek Hyun away from me.

 Me: I-I'm sorry... I-I j-just-

Only did I realize that he had gently pulled me back into his comforting arms.

Baek Hyun: There's no need to be sorry...

His eyes, his beautiful gentle eyes were filled with sincerity. I stared into them deeply to only find myself falling for his unforgettable charms once again. He slowly rose his hands up to the sides of my cheeks and yes... blissed me with a sweet kiss.

Maybe this was just meant to be? Maybe he was the one for me all along. Maybe, just maybe.

Baek Hyun: Jin Young-ah...

Me: Baek Hyun Oppa...

We both spoke in unison. .

Me: You can go first...

Baek Hyun: No, you go...

Baek Hyun insisted as I took a deep breath in and then out.

"EVERYONE BACK TO THE CAMPSITE!!"

A loud announcement interrupted my important confession causing the two of us to turn heads toward the main building. Baek Hyun shortly looked back at me.

Baek Hyun: What were you saying?

Me: Oh, Um... Nothing...

Baek Hyun: Oh, well... we have to get back to the building  fast or else we'll get caught for "technically skipping".

Baek Hyun grabbed my hand leading me back to the dorms.

My back hit the door the moment I entered my room. I fell down to the ground with my knees up to my chest as my fingertips lingered around the surface of my lips.

*Aish! Babo! Dummy!*

I hit my head with my small fist declaring that I had just embarrassed myself by almost confessing my feelings to Baek Hyun only to realize that I had just hit myself a bit too hard.

*Ouch....*

*Knock-knock-knock*

I got up from the ground and answered.

 Me: C-Come in...

*Creeekkk*

The door opened slowly as a head popped out.

Me: B-Baek Hyun?

Baek Hyun: The teachers say that we should pack up soon. We're sleeping outside tonight in the tents.

Me: Oh, okay... I'll be out.

I answered as Baek Hyun closed the door leaving me by myself once again. I packed my belongings and quickly made my way outside. i slowly opened the door when...

"BOO!" Baek Hyun jumped out from a corner.

My eyes just widened as i stood infront of Baek Hyun.... Frozen.
