chapter 2

Colby's POV.

I am finally able to go home. Sam and the others did play the midnight game properly and nothing has happened lately. Sam came to pick me up. "Hey babe." He said walking in. I smile and he pecks my lips. He handed over a clipboard with my release papers on them and I signed it. I handed it to the doctor who had just finish last minute checkup and just told me to rest. Great I get to edit the whole time. Sam helped me to the car and I just felt stiff everywhere. I felt like a piece of paper just sitting there. We picked up some pain killer just to be safe. We enter through the dreaded slow gate and he helped me out of the car and helped me inside. I just held my side making sure not to pull the stitches.

"SURPRISE" the whole house says and I smile. Sam brought me to the bean bag and it was set up for a person to rest for a few weeks. I sat down and I hummed in comfort.

"This is way comfier then the hospital bed." I said covering myself with a blanket. Everyone laughed.

"Ok so. I didn't feel like it was safe for you to go up and down the stairs. So we move the main things from your room to this room." Sam said pointing to the other side to the room and I clapped and cheered. My stomach growled and I knew I would be hunger because the hospital food was shit.

"I want some food. My stomach is eating me inside out." I joked and Sam walked off and Elton came through the door with burger king. He handed it to me and I start with the fries. "Thanks uncle Elton." I said and I reached for my laptop and it was to far on the couch. I could just barely reach it. I gave up. I pick up the TV remote and turn on a movie. I ended up falling asleep. Once I woke up Sam was cuddling up to my side, my non injured side. I smile and he looked at me.

"Did you sleep well." He asked and I smile and pecked his lips.

"With you cuddling up to me. Yes. I did." I said and I reached for my laptop again and I notice it was closer this time. I placed it on my lap and I looked around for my phone. I could barely see it on the other end of the couch. "Can you please grab my phone and cords for me baby. I really need to edit." I said and Sam nodded. I watched him grab everything I would need for editing, including my camera. I turned on my laptop and started finishing the last vlog I never did get to finish after seeing all the tweets I've been getting from my viewers. I saw them on my phone. I sighed. I grabbed my camera. I turned it on. "Hey guys. It's now been over a week since I last posted. I do have a good excuse for that. I'm not sure if you guys already know this from everyone else's videos our not. I don't know if Sam has posted on the Sam and Colby channel about it. But. The reason I haven't post in so long is because I have been in the hospital. I got my appendix removed. I'm okay obviously. I'm just telling you guys because I know you are worried about me. I did notice that I did a sub spike and I would like to say to all the new family that has recently join me. I post every Fridays and that I thank you for joining. Peace." I said kissing my hand and covered the lens. I turned off the recording and started editing that into the vlog. I posted that video an hour later and I closed my laptop. Sam's phone dinged and he looked at it. It was my video notification. I smile and I kissed the top of his head.

"I love you. Are we going to come out on YouTube." He asked and I shrugged.

"I don't care either if we do or not. As long I'm with you." I said " and I love you too." I finished and he blushed. I kissed him and we were interrupted when Elton came in with Circa. She ran over to me and I held my hands out so she wouldn't jump on me. Elton put a leash on her and pulled her out of the room with a sorry. He and circa were going for a walk. We turned our attention to the TV watching the movie together. Sam grabbed my camera and turned it on.

"Ready." He said and I got confused. "What's up guys. We have some serious news to tell you." He grabbed my hand. I smile. "We are dating. As of one week ago." He said and I smile wider. He turned towards me. "Why are you smiling like that."

"I just love smiling at you. You make me happy."

"You are such a sap today god." He said turning red.

"Oh really. Well then you looked adorable when you blush." I said and he hid his face. I took the camera. "If you don't like that we're dating then I'm sorry. You will either unsubscribe or get used to it. I'm not going anywhere." I said and I felt Sam kiss my neck. I tickled his side and he flinched away from my hand. I laughed. I place the camera down and Sam reaches for it. "No." I said grabbing his hand and I kiss him. He ended up kissing back. After what felt too short of a kiss he pulled back. He reached for the camera again. "No. More kisses." I said and he laughed.

"Let me do the outro at least." He said and I pouted. "So I was distracted by someone. He's been moody because of his stitches." I gently hit his arm.

"Don't lie. Just say the truth. I wanted to make out with you but you wanted to do your outro." I said and he shushed me. I stuck my tongue out at him and he did the same. He finished his outro and turned the camera off. "Can we make out now."

"Hmm no. I think I'm a little hungry." He said. I laugh. I pulled him closer to me and I connected my lips to his. We made out for what felt like 5 minutes with a little joking around in the middle and I felt his hand touch my stitches and I hissed in pain. "I'm so sorry I totally forgot about it."

"It's fine. Can you get me some pain killers." I asked and he nodded and walked to the kitchen and he was chatting with someone but I don't know what they were saying. I slowly made my way to my feet because I had to relieve my bladder. I walked slowly to the bathroom and did my business.

"Colby. Are you in there." I hear Sam through the door. I opened the door and slowly walked out. I held my side so I know if I'm pulling or not. Even though I could feel it. Sam helped me to the living room and I pointed to the couch. I wanted to sleep and the bean bag wasn't as comfy as the couch. I lay down and Sam gave me my pain killer and snuggled up to me. We watched the movie that on and I ended up falling asleep due to the meds I took.
