Jeric Allen Uy Teng, former captain ball of the UST Growling Tigers and now a player of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. A lot of people dream to be noticed by him. Even a single "hi" from him will probably cause hearts to appear in the eyes of his fans. Hell, even a wave will do the trick. However, not all fans settle for that. For some weird reason, they want to be able to actually touch him or his belongings. I guess it goes to a bit of obsession to others.

I chuckled as I thought about him and all that comes with his life. If only those fangirls (fanboys too) knew what happened to Jeric and me, they'd probably kill me (maybe.) Hey, I'm not saying we're in a relationship. Oh, hell no. I just wish, and by the time that wish comes true, I'd probably be dead.

Still, I guess I should be happy to have been able to know him. I won't deny it, I'm a fan of his but I'm one of those fans that don't get to see all his games and tapings. It's rare for me to attend those kinds of activities because my parents are kind of strict about me going out and meeting fans that are strangers to them.

I guess it was just pure luck (or maybe bad luck, I don't really know.)

We actually met because he kind of, sort of, ran into me and knocked me over (this is why I think that this is bad luck because I landed flat on my butt) while I was walking around Robinson's Magnolia. I can still remember him profusely saying sorry while trying to help me up. I was stunned, to say the least, that Jeric Teng (the Jeric Teng) was right in front of me, saying sorry because he knocked me down. (Cause boy you came around and you knocked me down, you knocked me down. That's actually a good one!) Anyway, yes. He knocked me down. Jeric Teng kept on apologizing and saying that he'd just make it up to me somehow and that he had to run for whatever reason. Without being able to say anything, he just ran away in a hurry. I guess he was late for an important occasion.

I scratched my head as I felt a blush dust my cheeks while looking down at the ground where I was a few seconds ago. There was a square object next to my foot that wasn't even mine yet I decided to pick it up. Hey, it looked expensive!

It was a cellphone, and yes, an expensive one. It was a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This is like... 36,000 pesos! Who the hell owns this and why would they just leave it on the ground?

Not unless...

Oh no. No. No. No!

...YES! Yes! Yes! Yes!

I shook my head. No, Clare! No! Don't even dare...

Despite trying to stop myself from opening it, I did once I settled myself on a comfortable couch at Starbucks with a cup of mocha frappe. I was biting my lip in anticipation as I was deciding if I should click it to life.

I shook my head again. I was really, really tempted to check its contents just to see if it really is Jeric Teng's phone. I mean, hello... It's Jeric Teng's phone for crying out loud. Who wouldn't want this? Well, maybe Jeric wouldn't want it to land on someone else's hands... After all, a cellphone is a very personal gadget.

Yes, Clare! It's a very personal gadget so stop what you are doing right now!

Come on, Clare. It's not like you're going to share it to anyone... Aside from your friends and their friends and the friends of their friends and the friends of the friends of their friends and the... Yeah, you get my point. Come on. This is a once in a lifetime chance. You're not going to let this pass, right? I know you want to.
