Part 12:"A Clue."

Narrator:

Morning came.

The Inspector's partner Riley have come to check up on his comrade to see why he didnt came home last night.

When he turned the doorknob,it was locked.

He knocked but no reply came from the other side.

He called out.

There was still no reply.

He went to the back to check the window.

Luckily it was open.

He first looked inside.

The room was pitch black.

He decided to jump inside since the window was big enough for him to fit in.

When he entered the room,He was shocked.

He saw his Dead partner on the floor with blood splattered across the floor.

He hurriedly went to his partner to check his pulse.

No pulse.

Out of anger,He punched the floor.

"Damn It."He said.

When all of a sudden,He saw his partner's dying message.

It was written in blood.

It was a bit fuzzy but it was a name.

"Drake"

He immediately called Headquarters.

Drake's POV

"Urghhh..."

As i get up,I arranged my bed and went downstairs.

I set myself in the sofa and turned on the television.

(Ding Dong!!!)

I was about to get the door when Mom rushed to it.

"Ill get it."She said.

I turned my attention to the TV again.

Moments later...

I heard arguing outside.

I stood up and went for the door.

I saw Mom talking with two Police officers.

"But Drake slept early last night,I even checked up on him to see if he was asleep."Mom said.

"Im sorry Mam but orders are orders.We need to take your son to the station for some questioning."Said the officers.

I approached Mom.

"Is something wrong?."I said.

"No Drake,just go back inside."

"Son,we need to take you back to the station."Said one of the officers.

"No!.My son is innocent."

I hold Mom's hand.

"It's Ok,Mom.Ill go with them,I'll prove them Im innocent."I said to Mom with a smile.

"Then ill go with you."

We went to the Police station.

I was taken to a room with just a table and two seats opposite to each other.

There's glass in the other side of the wall.

Im sure People on the other side are observing me right now.
