Matt x Reader -fluff-

Matt and I sat in silence, he was far too busy admiring himself in his handheld mirror to really even know of my existence! From brushing his hair with his hand and looking at his face from different angles to making small sounds of amazement to awe he was far too hypnotized by his own reflection! Edd and Tom were out shopping to get things that they needed, and they called me to make sure Matt doesn't destroy the house. Apartment complex? I don't even what to really even call this fancy place. But, of course, Matt's room was the fanciest of them all with all the elegant statues and portraits of himself around his room of the building. Seeing a place like this made me feel poor... Matt finally looked at me for the first time in what felt like forever,"(Y/N)! I'm hungry! Can you get me something to eat?" He gave me his famous puppy eyes. We stared at each other in silence for a bit,"Are you kidding me!? I sat here for hours while you admire yourself, you finally talk to me only because you want something from me! What kind of friend does that!?" I snapped and the orange haired boy, making him jump back with a small yelp of surprise,"(Y/N)! Stop being mean! It's not my fault I'm so beautiful! If you wanted the prince's attention, you could've just asked for a chance to admire me as well!" Matt whined, he shifted away from me, the small golden mirror held against his chest yet facing me showing me my own (e/c) eyes and my rather messy (h/c) hair. God, next to me he really does look like some kind of royalty...

I quietly huffed and stood up,"Whatever!" I hissed and ran off to the kitchen to get the only thing Matt actually bothered to talk to me about. I soon returned to him with a sandwich on a small plate,"There!" I declared and shoved the plate into his hand. He stared at the sandwich before looking at me,"(Y/N)..." He whispered,"What, Matt?" I asked, trying to be as calm and nice about it as possible," I don't like PB and J..." Matt whined. I glared at him,"Oh, I'm oh so sorry you're so picky about literally everything! What must you have? The finest dish in the whole world as a snack just because you're a sexy bastard!?" I snapped at the boy, my anger was obviously clear as day and I smacked the plate out of his hand because of it, the plate shattered on the ground and the once perfectly fine sandwich now staining the once flawless ground. He jumped back,"All I did was say I don't like that kind of sandwich! What did I do wrong!?" he pleaded for my reasoning, but before I could open my mouth to respond he looked at me with a confused look,"Wait," he began. He rose to his feet. He easily stepped around the small food disaster on the ground and stepped in front of me. Our faces so close together I felt his warm breath against my face,"You called me a 'sexy bastard'." he remarked, he wrapped his arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me even closer to him. I could do nothing but stare into his hypnotic deep blue eyes as he trapped me in his arms. "Do... You like me, (Y/N)?" I felt my face burn up as if it magically caught fire in invisible flames,"Wh-what? No! O-Of course I don't! We're just friends, right? Right!?" I cried out to him, the whole time neither of us broke eye contact.

"You're lying right now, (Y/N)..." he whispered in an almost annoyed tone, glared at him,"Am not!" I hissed at him,"You can't lie about not lying, (Y/N). I know that look in your eyes, I notice it whenever you lie." He briefly explained, he placed his warm palm on my cheek, my face heated up more and I backed away from Matt,"Are you insane? I don't like you like that! Never did, never will!" I snapped. He sighed and put his arm around his chest with his other arm resting on top as he had his thumb and pointer finger on his chin in a thinking manner,"That may be so... Or you can just be lying yet again. Either way..." He trailed off, he let his arms fall to his side. He smiled a little at me and pulled me over to him and made me look him in the eyes.

"I love you, more than I could ever love myself, (Y/N) (L/N)."
