After joining that werewolf game last week, I feel like I found my place in the club. This is only my third week going, yet I found my place. It's a nice feeling.

They call to start a werewolf game and I immediately head up to the front table. I walk to the other side of table so I can see the rest of the club room. The people that were playing last week started coming up. I only recognize a couple players, but I'm still new. I'll learn the name and faces of all the regular players soon.

One particular player I see approaching kind of stands out to me. Why? Well to be blunt, he's cute! Like, damn. He's my skin tone, blonde hair, thin... And he decides to sit next to me! How interesting.

A few games pass, and I've been pretty quiet for most of them. I mean, I haven't had a reason to really speak, especially since I have no idea how to talk to the town. Another game begins.

I receive my role, and to be honest, I'm not happy. I'm a werewolf.

I guess I can't really do anything about it so I just go with it

I guess I can't really do anything about it so I just go with it. The town goes to sleep, and I wait for werewolves to be called. Which doesn't take long, the mod calls werewolf second. "Werewolves, wake up. Look around for your buddies."

I begin looking around, and to my surprise, the cute guy sitting on my right is my wolf partner. The odds must be pretty slim for that to happen. "Werewolves, you're hungry. Eat people. Go back to sleep."

He calls a couple more roles and the rest of the town wakes up. As per usual, we have no information, so we vote to sleep. When the werewolves get called again, me and my wolf partner wake up. I point to a random player and look at him. He shrugs and votes with me.

When there are more than one werewolf in the game, they have to agree on who to kill. Wouldn't be fair for the to get more than one kill per night, now would it?

The town wakes up, begins talking, and honestly does not take them long to put me on the stand. "Melissa you are on the stand, make your defense."

I'm stunned. I don't really know how they want me to defend myself. "I'm a villager, I don't know what else you expect me to say... kinda hard to defend yourself when all you can say about yourself is that you're a villager."

After my defense, the did decide to lynch me. Which honestly, I'm not that surprised. I am surprised however that the very next day, they ended up killing my partner. And thanks to the town putting him on the stand in the first place, I managed to learn his name. Or at least, I think that's his name.

He was referred to as Garrett, I think. So that's one name I've learned since I've been playing. I think the bigger guy at the end is LaShay. LaShay seems like a really good player to.

"Well that went terribly," I comment with a chuckle. Literally could not have gone any worse than that.

"Yeah that didn't end well for us." He says back to me. I look at him, "I don't believe I ever caught your name." Yes, my typical phrase to learn someone's name. I've always thought just asking what someone's name is was kind of stupid? I dunno it just sounds stupid.

He gives me a smile, "Garrett." Aha, called it. His name is Garrett. So freaking called it.

The mod passes out the cards for the next game. I receive my role, and I've only played with this role before like, once. It's the bartender.

[The bartender card is actually a custom card created by the group of people I actually play this game with, and not actually part of the game. Therefore I will not be able to find an image for you.]

The bartender is really an interesting role to be quite honest. On the third night, they 'give a drink' to someone, and the person they give a drink to has their role changed. It really changes the game.

I'm forced to out my role on the second day, which honestly I didn't mind too much. I gotta do what I gotta do to stay alive.

On the third night, when the mod calls my role, I wake up, and point to LaShay. He's a good player, so hopefully this turns out to be interesting. Too bad I don't get to know what role he changes to.

When the town wakes up, not a whole lot happens. Just before we go to sleep, I hear a whisper in my ear. "Who'd you give your drink to?"

I whisper back to Garrett, "LaShay." He nod in acknowledgement before the town is told to sleep. When we wake back up, I was dead.

At first I didn't understand why I died when everyone knew I was the bartender. Then it donned on me, I could have easily told the town who I gave my drink to. LaShay would have been eliminated immediately, so there's a good chance he's a killing role. And he chose to kill me so I couldn't say who I have me drink to.

Very smart, if I do say so myself. However, he doesn't know that Garrett knows. Maybe he'll say something.

The next night phase I watch LaShay point to kill Garrett. Well, there goes that I guess. LaShay is going to win just because neither of us said anything.

When the game ends I immediately speak, "I knew I should have told the town who I have my drink to."

"Yea that was a fuck up on your part." LaShay comments. "Did you even tell anyone?"

Garrett raises his hand slighty, "She told me but I didn't say anything. I should have said something."

There's always next game I suppose.

Author's Note:
