Chapter 7~ Secrets
Masky, Hoodie and her started spending a lot of time together.
Her name was Savannah. She was a sweet, kind hearted, little girl. Savannah liked to tease Hoodie here and there and played games all the time.
Soon, Hoodie felt a lingering and burning passion he couldn't describe. The pounding in his slightly tanned chest just wouldn't stop when she was around.
They played games and all for some time. Slender watched silently behind the trees, finally deciding not to kill her. Since they've grown quite attached. He then teleported away.
One day, out of curiosity, she asked, "Do you have a daddy?"
Hoodie frowned.
Masky paniced inside.
They weren't suppose to tell her that.
She tilted her head, waiting for an answer. Hoodie then spoke, "Umm...W-We can't tell you that..."
"Hmm...?" She then smiled,"It's only yes or no!"
"...Then...Yes..." Masky said, hiding his blushing face.
"What about you mommy?"
"We don't have one..."
She frowned. "Aww...That's sad! But dont worry! Your daddy is there!" She brighten up.
Hoodie smiled shyly. The thought of Slender was a sign of relief everyday. Ever since he saw the little scary man with the huge claws and him argue, he considered Slender...
His father.
That day after school she caught up to the twins. "Hey! Why do you go into the woods? Is your house there? "
"Maybe...." Hoodie blushed.
"Can we have a play date!" She jumped excitedly.
"No, Sle- I mean...Daddy won't let us." Masky responded as Hoodie hid behind him.
"Aww, Why not? Let my mommy talk to your daddy and maybe we-"
"I'm sowwy Savanny...Our daddy said n-no friends at all..." Hoodie stuttered.
"Hmph!" Savannah pouted. "I want a play date and were gonna get one!" She grabbed them both and blindly walked through the woods until they came upon the mansion. "Ooh! This your house?"
Hoodie and Masky gulped. "Yes..." Fear struck through them. Especially Hoodie. The thought of her seeing Slender scared him. Because she may freak and never want to see them again. This thought rapidly ran through his mind as they entered the open-doored mansion. She gasped in suprised at how big it was.
"Where's your daddy?" She ran around looking everywhere, but he wasn't to be anywhere.
Hoodie sighed in relief, and cuddled up close to Masky. As if his brother was his shield, someone to make him feel better all the time. Which he was, there bond was strong.
"I guess he's not home...." Masky said.
Savannah smiled. "Let's play then!"
They went to their room. Hoodie and Masky pretended not to see Slenderman in the darkest corner of the big room, watching them. Savannah didn't notice at all, luckily. Seems Slender wasn't interested in killing her since the static wasn't heard.
Soon, she waved goodbye and left. "Bye guys!" She ran back home.
Immediately, Slender appeared in front of them. "What have I told you?!" His voice boomed like thunder in their ears.
"S-she found t-the mansion!" They stuttered together. Hoodie thought they shrinked even more then how small they were already.
"And why did you invite her in?!"
"She came in!" Masky squeaked. Hoodie stayed silent for most questions.
"Then why were playing with her?!"
"Because we didn't wanna be rude and-and I..." Hoodie stuttered, finally.
Slender seemed to sigh, straightening to his monsterous height. "I understand, child. You have feelings for her, don't you?"
Hoodie blushed and hid himself in his hood, his slight tan was tinted pink on his cheeks. And his hood drooped over his head, bright eyes looking at his 'father'.
Masky cooed and poked him, "Oohh~ You have a crush!" Hoodie blushed more and attempted to hide behind anything within range.
"Now, now, don't you tease him Masky!" Slender scolded. Masky frowned, "Aww!"
'Maybe it'll be better tommorow...' Hoodie thought, 'but she can't come over...' He shyly walked away, letting his oversized hoody hang over his hands and head.
The next day was sleepy. No one dared or wanted to wake up. Masky cuddled up to Hoodie in the big, fluffy, bed. Hoodie watched the ceiling fan wave in circles, gently blowing cool air on them.
His gentle and soft locks of hair bristled, waved, back. Hoodie blinked and shifted a bit, before Slender came through.
"Morning Children. You must wake for school." His voice boomed in there ears, with a small tint of static.
Masky sat up and rubbed his eyes. Then coughed violently. "I-I don't wanna..." He coughed again.
"Seems like you are sick, Timothy." Slender picked the sleepy boy up with a hand. Masky kept coughing, them he sneezed, a cute little sneeze- like a kitten.
Hoodie smiled weakly. He too didn't feel well. Slender put a hand atop their heads,"My,my... Your temperatures are both very high. I shall let you stay home today. So you can get much better, and not sicken the other students."
They smiled. They'll have a nice day today.
