VIKKRON is a new story that I'm working on. You could say that is my first, but that's not completely true as before this I worked on something called "Hood Of Radiation." That didn't go so well, i think my writing was quite poor with that short and the plot as well as characters didn't run so well. I deiced to start writing the story Vikkron as I never really had a backstory for how I would make a war take place, at least not a complete one. Really, I needed a backstory as my larger work (which will NOT be for Wattpad, sorry!) which involves multiple factions of numerous diverse species joining together to stop a threat that escalated far beyond how it was supposed to.
This threat was known as many things when I was coming up with a basis for the larger work, "Creation". The first one was this being known as "The Apparition", which later became the "Shons", and now, the "Izal", which later becomes the "Shade Faction". The goal of the first two antagonist/group was simple, take over the galaxy of Hallow (where both Creation and Vikkron take place in). I didn't really like those too much, I wanted to try something different, as Creation is meant to be about struggles, mistakes, opinions, and most of all, the fact that no one is ever really bad in the sense of tying to survive.
I decided that the Izal would display that message in some why, but I knew that telling that in Creation wouldn't go well, due to the fact that it's told from a person's point of view who is trying to win the war. That meant that I had to write a different story from a different narration point if I wanted to show that the Izal aren't hung up on committing mass genocide, that they didn't even want a dispute in the first place.
I feel as if VIKKRON is a great way to portray this idea and how it will be useful to completing Creation. Obviously, it won't make the writing blocks any worst and it won't speed up the process of writing Creation, but it will be nice to look back at and keep me focused on the fact that everyone makes mistakes, and we just have to live through it all, the good and the bad.
And, no matter what comes at us, we'll be ready for it, somehow.
