I felt as if I had just gotten off of a roller coaster. The world around me was spinning and slowly blurring. You're kinda stuck here, kid. Selffe's voice still rang in my ears. I couldn't speak. There's no way out of here, I thought to myself, terror taking over my emotions.
"Selffe!" Omma screeched in pure anger.
"What? I was just telling the truth to the kid." Selffe replied. "No harm in telling truths, right?"
"Well, in this case, there most likely is harm. Samuel looks as if he's about to pass out!" Omma told her brother. She turned her head to me. "Sam?" She said in a soft voice.
I still couldn't reply.
"It's okay, Sam. We'll get you out of here." Omma said assuredly.
After many moments of hesitation, I finally found my voice. "But Selffe said-"
The calm feline-like creature interrupted me. "Don't listen to him. He barely knows anything about escape routes. There's always away out of a situation."
Her words soothed me. I took a deep breath and regained my confidence. "Could you please help me find the way out?"
"Of course, Sam." Omma nuzzled me, her soft fur brushing gently across my face. "We all will help. I'll make sure that you get back home safely, even with the Eclipse Twins' free from their prison."
