The tributes
Today was the most important day of the whole camps life. Today Chiron said that he had a very important announcement for the whole camp. Percy was clearly nervous. They were told to separate into cabins. That means he couldn't be with Anabeth. He wasn't quite alone though. He still had Tyson, his Cyclopes brother.
Naturally, Percy's knuckles and palms got sweaty as soon as he saw Chiron get up on the stage. Oddly enough as soon as Chiron set his first hoof on the stage, a couple of glass jars with slips of paper in them appeared on the stage. Then Aphrodite appeared on the stage.
Chiron tapped on the microphone on front of him. "Please settle down," he said in his normal voice. The demigods (typically 12+) were still talking amongst them selfs. Then Chiron yelled as loud as Zeus' personal lightning bolts, "CHILDREN, SHUT UP AND LISTEN!" That got them quiet , he never yelled, this had to be very important.
