Chapter 3

Alley's POV

I didn't expect him to Jake is so sweet. He's like the perfect guy. I think.. I'm actually starting to like him. I know, I know, I'm technically still with Logan, but its not like Jake's gonna pick me anyway. I hope, I really hope. He's probably just a player. Well, he's the captain of the football team, he's sweet and he's so damn hot. Okay, maybe I'm going overboard. NOT ! Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by an anouncement. They said the school is going to Paris!! For 2 weeks! OMG! I SO HAVE TO GO! I was practically screaming in class. Everyone was literally staring at me, but how not to scream? Its Paris! I was screaming to Rebecca. On the way to lunch she was trying to cool me down when Jake suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Rebecca's jaw almost dropped and there was drool dropping out from her mouth. I elbowed her in the rib. 

"Hey Alley." Jake said dreamily.

"Hi Jake." I said trying not to look like an idiot.

"Wanna grab lunch?" He said a little nervous.

"What about Melissa?" I said a little shocked as to why he wanted to go to lunch with me. 

"Oh..Long story" He said quickly avoiding the subject.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"  Rebecca said unconciously trying to process the whole situation. 

"Umm, sure." I said feeling a bit of happiness inside.

"You know,I think I'll leave you two alone now" Rebecca said to me walking away while giving me a wink and a thumbs up.

"Come on then!" he said poking me. 

"Hey! That's not funny!" I said trying not to laugh uncontrollably.

"Umm, it is." he said laughing like crazy.

We sat down at the end of the cafeteria. He said he'll go buy lunch. I said I'll come with him but he didn't listen to me. I sat in the middle of the cafeteria watching Jake buy us lunch. 

He got me a Ham & Cheese sandwich. My absoulute favourite. I wonder how he knew! I watched him pay and came towards me to sit down. 

"How much do I owe you? And how did you know that Ham & Cheese is my favourite?" 

"You don't owe me anything Alley. Its my treat. Errrrrrrrrrr, I asked Rebecca." trying not to look embarrassed. 

Awww, he's so sweet. 

All of the sudden, two tall dark-haired girls walked up behind me and said that "Ahh,this the girl that little Jakey has been talking about." Wait what? Jakey? Do they mean Jake? 

Jake walked over towards the table. He looked at all of us and immediately groaned. "Oh noooooo, you again. What have I told you, in school I dont know you eventhough we are siblings."

"You talk about me at home?" I said embarrased. 

"NO! She's just lying to annoy me!" he answered quickly.

"Hmmph, whatever you say little brother." his sister, Sara said. She winked at me. 

What was that about? Hmm, I thought to myself. 

"I'm sorry about my sister, Alley." he said trying to hide his embarrasment.

"Its alright." I said, trying not to blush.

I was a bit hurt inside, but I think I hid it really well. Maybe, just maybe I was falling for him. 

"So, I heard you were screaming about something in the hallway... That was really loud Alley." he said trying not to laugh.
