Camerons POV:

I saw Maddie leave the classroom and wanted to talk to her. I want to get to know her better. Maybe if I do that she will end up liking me as a person.

I know summer vacation is almost here and I wont see her for a while unless I get to know her in these last three days.

As im walking down the hall I see Maddies long blonde hair and perfect tan skin walk past.

"Maddie!" I shout hoping for her to notice.

She stops in the hall and turns around. I could feel my hands start to sweat and me start to panic.

Maddie was beautiful. She was like an angel sent down from heaven and all I wanted was her.

Most of the kids in our school would die to get a date with me, but Maddie, well she seemed like she didn't even care that I was Cameron Dallas the famous viner.

I don't know why she made me so nervous, she just did. It was like I never had feelings for a girl before.

"What is it Cam, my moms waiting for me"?

"I..i..just wanted to tell you to text me sometime", I said handing her my number on a piece of paper from my binder.

She looked at me then looked down at the ground.

"Im sorry I...I just cant", she said handing me back the paper.

As she walked away I felt my hear ache. Why did I want her so bad?

Maddies POV:

I ran outside with tears in my eyes. It was only the first day of my new school and I was already crying.

I know Cam couldn't understand why i wouldn't want to talk to him but its more complicated then it seems.

My mom wasn't even at school i just needed an excuse to walk away.

I sat down on the stairs behind the school where nobody was.

"Tough first day"? I heard someone say as they walked to the stairs to sit next to me.

I looked up shocked.

"My names Annie, i was a new student last year and it was tough but it'll work out kid just wait and see".

It wasn't that the first day was tough it was just i didn't want to get attached to anyone because of what happened in my old school.

"Its not what you think, trust me", i said wiping my tears.

"Then what"? said Annie.

I looked around to see that nobody else was nearby. I never really shared my secret with anyone except my bestfriend karina.

"Last year at my old school i was popular, i had the most popular boyfriend and everything was perfect. Perfect until we got a new girl in school. Her name was Erin and she was gorgeous. She wasn't even shy. One day she walked up to my boyfriend and started talking to him. I guess they got close or whatever and he began to like her. After about a week he started ignoring my calls and texts and didn't even bother to talk to me in the halls. So i ended up breaking up with him and ive just been scared to get close to anyone again".

Annie looked at me in shock as if she never heard a breakup story before.

"So why are you in tears"? She said completely ignoring the fact that i just shared my life story with her.

"Cameron, he wants to get close with me and as much as i want to i cant".

"But you can", Annie said grabbing my shoulders.

My dad was alive when i broke up with my last boyfriend and he told me not to go for anyone unless i was sure they were the right choice. He told me he would make sure hes the right choice for me but now that my dads gone i don't know how to make the right choice.

I have only known Cameron for barely a day how could I have feelings for him so fast?

"I cant, my dad died a couple years ago and I just cant seem to pick a boy to be with without my dads consent", I said turning away from Annie.

"Look kid, theres a reason you shared your story with me and the reason is because you need help on what to do because you like Cameron".

I knew she was right but I was just a new girl in school. A new average girl who barely gets looked at by popular guys.

"I have to go, my mom will start to worry but thank you for your help Annie".

Annie nodded and I headed for my house.
