Haunting memories

So I'm not sure which guy I want as Alec. Please comment and tell me who you like most

Everything thing was silent..... or at least that how I wish it was. The sound of people arguing filled my ears as I began to wake up again. I wanted to flinch back, run away, knowing if I don't get up Darren will come for me for sure. That is, till I heard exactly what they were arguing about.

"I understand that you're upset Alfa," a mans voice stated. "But injecting her like that was necessary. You say how she was acting."

"No! There's always other things we can do! If I could've talked to her instead of you shoving a syringe in her shoulder-!"

I jumped from the loud tone in his voice.

"Princess?" I heard the louder voice say in a softer tone.

I could hear his footsteps inching towards me so I did the only thing I could think of and shielded myself with the blanket that had covered my legs.

"P-please." I begged, my voice wavering. "Don't hurt me."

"Look at me." He told me. He was silent for a moment before realizing I wasn't going to move. "I'd never hurt you. I'm not going to let anyone hurt you again, I promise."

I clenched my eyes shut recalling a similar scene from years ago as I laid in my little bed.

"I promise." Darren said as he wiped my tears away. "I won't let anyone hurt you ever. I won't let anyone hurt us again."

"H-He said the same thing." I told the man. "He promised too."

Very slowly the blanket was pulled down against my will and I came face to face with a familiar set of blue eyes. We just stared at each other for a moment, never taking our eyes off of each other's even as he spoke.

"I'm nothing like him love. I'll never break any promises to you. I'll protect you from him."

Just then he reached out to touch my cheek and sparks lit up the area where his fingers brushed by causing me to immediately jump back.

"He's probably very angry with me." I realized. "His eyes will turn yellow for sure. He's going to be very very mad." I said grabbing my head between my hands and bringing my knees to my chin.

Then the sparks exploded on my arms. I tried to pull back but soon enough I found myself wanting to fall into them. I didn't however, knowing not to trust anything that just appears to be good.

"Genesis, your going to be alright. He can't hurt you anymore. I've taken care of him." He growled a bit.

"What did you do to him?! He's goi g to be furious when he comes back. I have to get home now! If I'm not home nothing gets cleaned and if nothing is clean he gets mad and drinks and then he comes after me an-"

My rambling was cut off by a loud growl with made me instantly flinch and scrambled off the bed and into a corner.

When Darren growls it's very bad. That's when he breaks things, specifically me.

I peered through my hands to see Alec standing there, fuming. He swiftly flung his arm up and punched the wall making tears cascade down my face and a huge whole where his fist is.
