It was Saturday, March 22, 1975. Roger had bought me my own tickets to see them live. He even got me a backstage pass !! Now, I have the opportunity to meet Brian !! The only Queen member I haven't met yet. He got out of the hospital in January for being positive for Hepatitis. But, he's out now, and I'm glad he's out and okay.

The Queen concert doesn't start till 8PM. So, Roger and I were snuggling on the couch. Then we later had some fun, then a drinking contest, then we had a hang over. And little did we know, the concert starts in an hour. When I found out, I woke Roger, and he was out the door with the rest of his band. I called for a cab to drive me to the building where Queen was gonna play. When I got there, I showed the guard my ticket, and he let me in. I ran right to my seat. I was shaking in excitement !! I was finally here. At a Queen concert, I've been meaning to attend to. And now, I finally get the chance to see them live. First, they started out with The Night Comes Down. Beautiful song, by the way. Not gonna lie ! Then they played, Stone Cold Crazy, Keep Yourself Alive, White Queen, Flick Of The Wrist, etc.

I can tell Roger was looking at me for most of the concert. I felt his eyes on me. The last song they sung was Funny How Love Is. Roger said he was dedicated a song for me at the end of the concert. Even Freddie said, "This last song, is dedicated to a special someone who's out here tonight !" Obviously, everyone cheered. But everyone thought it was for someone else. But, some knew the song was for me. After hearing the final lyric, "If you gotta make love, do it everywhere. That's what love is, that's what love is." It made me tear up, I'm not even joking !! Friends around me saw me tear up, and they told me, "Roger's a really nice guy if he's gonna dedicate a song to you at the end of a concert. No musicians even think about dedicated a song to their lover out there ! But Roger did. That's how you know, he really cares about you."

After the concert, I went backstage for the 'greet and meet' they always have after their concert. Roger saw me, so I ran full speed at him. Hugged him so tightly. Roger even started saying, "Too tight !! Too tight !!" I thanked him for dedicating the song for and I also thanked him for everything. He kissed me and said, "No problem. And, don't hug me that tight again !!" Everyone laughed. Then he said, "The reason why I dedicated that song for you, is because it was the song we played at our wedding." I froze in shock. I forgot that was played at out wedding !! I feel so stupid !! No wonder why he dedicated it to me !! Roger knew I forgot and was shocked, so, he laughed.

I went up to Brian and introduced myself: "Hi Brian ! I'm Ashlee Meddows, and I'm a huge fan of you guys ! As you can tell. I've been a huge fan ever since I was 17 !" He was happy, and a very nice guy. I'm so glad he's better and healthy. Because, he looks WAY better now than he was when he was sick. He was so pale, and he could barley walk ! I got his signature. In fact, I got all their signatures now. All I needed was Brian's. Now I'm set ! I got a few pictures with Brian, then the whole band. Then, we all  went back to our flat to rest our weary heads for the night. I tell ya, this has been the best two years of my life. I never get two best years in a row !! They usually are all crappy !! But, these two years, were the best years of my life. And I hope, I carry on with Roger, till our last breath together.
