As her and Jay Jay, fought over the last scoop of ice cream, Jack came striding over with a impatient air around him.
"We need to go" he stated, as he reached the table.
"Why?" asked Dylan with a small frown upon his face.
"A group of wolves from Alpha Derrick's pack are waiting at our south border, requesting entrance" he said this slowly and carefully while watching out for Jasmine's reaction.
Upon hearing these words, Jasmine felt like she had been flung into a dark tunnel, the sounds around her became muted, as images from the night flashed within her mind, and she paled.
The brothers noticed Jasmine's body stiffening and small whimpers escaping her lips, as her eyes rolled back. Jay shook her gently.
"Jasmine? What's wrong?" questioned Jay with concern lacing his voice. Before Jasmine could answer him and reassure him, her vision darkened and she fell into a black void of nothingness.
Jack, went to meet the members of the other pack at the border, with no intention of being overly friendly, as the pack had a nasty reputation, and he did not want to involve his pack into their problems. Normally relationships between other packs was not as uncivil, but with Alpha Derrick's pack it was another story, as they had made it clear they had no respect for any Alphas and would stab them in the back with every chance they got. He had proved this with what he did too Alpha Green and his wife, although no one could prove it, it was well known among all packs, that their demise had been his doing.
While Jack had gone to meet Alpha Derrick's people, the rest of the brothers, were crowded around Jasmine's bed, while she stirred and whimpered as she lay unconscious. The pack doctor they had called was on her way. After five minutes of waiting, Dylan was pacing her room, while Sean stood immobile, not taking his eyes off Jasmine, Jay sat on the edge of her bed, holding her small hand within his.
"Where the hell is Jess?!" shouted Sean in frustration, as Jasmine let out a blood curdling screech from where she lay. Jay, scooped her up into his arms and rubbed her back reassuringly, but she did not register this sign of comfort.
It was as this that Jess, found the brothers as she had ran up the stairs upon hearing such a scream. Taking one look at the pale, skinny girl within Jay's arms she instructed the boys out, as she set about checking and looking over her body, for any signs of physical damage. After this she set about doing, what pack doctors were famous for. Checking for internal scars, and this did not mean injuries to bones and such, but the injuries to the brain and soul. Some werewolves were born with a telepathic gift, that let them check the mind of a wolf. They could not actually read their mind, but more the aura or the emotions that the brain was feeling overall. As she placed her forehead against the girls, she felt waves of darkness, but not the evil darkness, it was pure pain, anguish and a sense of helplessness that entered her mind. From the intensity of the pain being radiated, she understood why her body had shut down. For werewolves, everything they felt was always ten times more intense than humans, it was one of the reason why they only ever loved once, that being their mate, but of course with all emotions if things went bad they could destroy a wolfs mind and turn them into a animalistic savage. Through the telepathic link she send out soothing waves , to help subside the pain. She did not have the ability to remove the pain but she could lessen it, and help store it away within her mind, helping her to lessen it and to actually function. As soon as she started to feel Jasmine stir from her unconscious state she pulled back, watching her as her eyes opened slowly.
