I know it's been nearly a week, but I have had exams and coursework. Any way here is a extra long chapter for you to enjoy. Still hasn't been proof read, so mind the mistakes.

Jack paced the study floor wearing away the study carpet steadily and listening to the rain lash against the window as he waited for his brother to get there. All he intended to do was find something on Jasmine so the brothers would understand why trusting her was the worst idea they ever had, but what he found out not only made him feel guilty but had finally convinced him that she belonged right there with him and his brothers. He was just thinking about how he would have to apologise to her, when Dylan walked in looking worried.

Dylan and Jack settled down into the study, as Jack explained to him how he hadn't trusted Jasmine so went to the property she was to inherit from her mother's side. In that house he found diaries her mother had kept and in them she written how she was worried that Jasmine was not her mates daughter but instead their fathers daughter. He told her that before they found their own mates Jasmine's mother and their farther had been dating and had been high school sweethearts. Dylan was truly shocked to hear this, it really was fate that they had found Jasmine on their land and their inner wolves had formed such a connection.

Dylan just sat there staring at Jack not sure what to say, then he realised that if anyone would know what the truth was it would be Jess. They could not trust everything written in the diary, after all within the diary Jasmine's mother had just said she was worried it was true, this was not a reliable source. Dylan decided to contact Jess and ask her to come down to the office as they had something to discuss with her.

Jess was not sure why she was being summoned to the office since she had never been called there before. Normally being the pack doctor she just makes house calls or expected to stay at the pack hospital which is just a ten minute walk from the pack house. She hurriedly made her way to the pack house and was planning on checking up on Jasmine after. She felt guilty for barely spending any time with her since she had met her, but her shifts at the hospital had been demanding most of her attention. As she walked into the study, she noticed Jack pacing the floor and Dylan staring into the fireplace; they both wore troubled expressions.

"What seems to be the matter? Are you well? Is something wrong with Jasmine?". It just occurred to her that someone might be unwell and maybe that's why she had been called.

"Everyone is fine Jess, this has something to do with Jasmine's mother Jane" said Dylan in a calming down.

Jess had a suspension what they would ask her, she had been Jane's best friend and knew all her deepest darkest secrets. She had always intended to take them to her grave, but that was before she had a daughter who needed to know her roots. Jess swallowed nervously, even though the Black's Alphas were the kindest she had ever encountered, they were still very powerful and would never allow they're pack members to lie to them.
