Once again Jasmine lay asleep, but this time with the comfort of four walls sheltering her from the blistering winds that hours before had shaken her to her bones. Now she lay in a light green room, in a warm queen sized bed, a balcony to her right and en suit to her left, with a walk in wardrobe directly facing her bed. This was very different from her cold draughty attic that she was used to. So it came as no surprise that as she slowly and luxuriously stretched her small form within her covers, her eyes drifted from one thing to another, each bringing a small smile or fission of delight to her eyes.
Once she had feasted her eyes on this amazing new room that she had been placed in, she crept out of bed. She did not know if she should stay as she was or go and see if she could find her new brothers, at the thought of her brothers a smile formed on her lips. It was like this that Sean found his new sister, standing near her bed smiling at some thought that had formed within her mind. To most people it would be a shock to why they had adopted her so fast, but they were werewolves and wolves had a way of recognizing each other; even if they're human counterparts did not understand it, they did respect their instincts.
“Good morning sissy” he said with a grin at being able to refer to her as such, she looked up and smiled a full on smile.
“Good morning Sean” she said as she skipped towards him, reaching out her hand towards his that he was holding out, it was at this moment that her stomach grumbled loudly. Jasmine dismissed it out of habit; she was used to constantly being hungry.
Sean on the other hand laughed, unaware of her thoughts and looked down as he spoke affectionately to her.
“Looks like I better cook you some breakfast, how do pancakes sound?”
“Br...Breakfast?” she questioned him, looking up trying to figure out if he was joking about the notion of food or not.
“Awww C’mon, don’t tell me you don’t know what breakfast is sissy, we are planning on feeding you.” He said in a joking tone, while gently nudging her.
“Hey! I so do know what breakfast is, honestly I just didn’t know you could cook, shocked me a bit I guess” She said this hastily trying to cover up her initial shock at being offered food. As she pondered on this more, she realized that in all her years living at that house, no one had ever made her a meal; in fact no one had ever left her any food, as she tended to scrape the pans when she was washing them to find something to eat.
Jasmine sat in the back seat of a shiny car, sandwiched in between Jack and Jay. She was still shocked at being offered food and had ate as much as she could, but her body was not used to large quantities of it so as much as the pancakes had set her taste buds alight, she could only manage just over half of it. Realizing that Jay had been talking all that time she shook herself out of her thoughts and back to what he was saying. Jack grinned at her with a mischievous glint in his eyes as he addressed her.
