Al-himzaan University

I stare at the enormous building. One of the best schools in the country which my parents saved alot and worked really hard day and night for me to get into.

They wanted the best for their only daughter. I smile at the thought of that. But still I thought, it's not fair for them to send me across the country to a city I've never been to, to start a new life and as a freshman in college but then again it's normal.

I know nothing about being in college and all, because I started school at a really young age and I passed my exams to get into university in the 11th grade. Yes, I'm just sixteen years old.

I groan at all of my thoughts and pull my luggages towards the girls hostel as the sign said. Finally I reached room 303. My new room.

I let out a sigh of contentment as I layed on my now ready bed. It took me 4 whole hours to clean this room up and arrange my clothes and stuff. The previous owners were horribly messy.

I close my eyes ready for sleep to take over me. Before I hear a knock on the door making me groan a little too loud that, maybe even the person at the door must've heard. I lazily get off my bed and walk to the door opening it. Standing there was a short girl with beautiful brown eyes and professional make up making her look like a model, with over 4 boxes holding a purse in one hand and Starbucks coffee in the other. My good ol' bestie.

"Hello roomie" She said, smiling as I jump on her giving her a bear hug. I squeezed her so tight making her face go red.

"Jas! What are you doing here?" I asked her, not believing my eyes.

"Well....somehow I begged your parents to convince mine to study here" She said, as she walks in, her high heels clicking.

"God, you dont know how happy I am!" I exclaim, as I help her take her luggages in.

"I'm happier! Cause we're lucky to be roomies! " She said, in a girly high-pitched tone.

"Wait.... I was told my roomates name was Habiba Jordan? " I asked.

"Oh I just killed her"She shrugged, with a creepy smile.I just stood there speechless cause I know she could actually do that.

"Hahaha! I'm kidding yee! Daddy handled everything"She shrugs, sipping her coffee.

"Oh no.... I was hoping my new roomie could cook cause I can't!  How are we going to survive Jasss!" I exclaim, shaking her.

"Chill girl! That's why we have restaurants and delivery guys, okay?" She laughed.

"Right..."I replied calmly, as I started to help her make her bed.

"I heard yazeed is throwing a party tonight,  you coming?" She said, while walking into her closet to arrange her clothes, i assume.

"How did you know? " I asked, curiously.

" his insta" She Said, opening her box to get some clothes out and make up.

"Oh..don't think I'm going.." I said, as I turn on the TV.

"Are u kidding me? You have the opportunity to go to yazeed Alhassans party!? And you're turning it down?" She said, looking at me with disbelief.

"I don't even know him and I'm not a party person so..." I said, glancing at her for a second before looking at the TV.

"I'm dead!" She said, as she dramatically holds her chest mocking a fake heart attack.

"What's so special about him?"I asked, ignoring her childish behaviour.

"He is literally an angel in human form!" She gushes." and also the son of Alhassan! The richest businessman in the whole of uae! You know what's next" she continued, as she enters the bathroom closing the door.

I have this strong hatred for rich kids. They always think they're better than others and just because you don't wear fancy or expensive clothes, they look at you asif you're another species. Except for jas though , her father is one of the top 20 richest business men in the country but she is the sweetest and bestest friend you could ever ask for.

So thats why i don't really judge all of them. Maybe I should go to the party?  Not because I want to see him in case that's what you're thinking but because I want know how it's like. College parties. I haven't been to any party before apart from birthday parties, even birthdays not so much.

You see, I don't really have that much friends. okay I don't  have friends except for Jas, which I'm surprised is putting up with me for over 11 years. Maybe it's time for me to let loose a little and have fun for once?

I guess it's time to take a leap of faith
