NOT EDITED! Sorry... The previous chapters aren't either... I'm really sorry...

• Akira's pow •

"You're still upset? The coach gave you a chance after all your disrespect, yet you throw a curveball in a long throw. That was classic! And Akira, you're throw as well! Kyahaha!"

"You've just been running for the past three days too! You might just end ip running for the rest of the year. But Akira, you should start doing the training, not run with Eijun, it's just stupid. All of your tenth-grade peers will be playing in pfficual games, while you just keep running, every day! What are you gonna do? Maybe shoow for the Olympics? In marathon, I mean. Kyaha-" Kuramochi's laugher is stopped by me throwing my empty milkshake carton at him from the top bunk bed.

"Ouuuch!" Yells out Kuramochi and throws the carton back. I just keep my eyes closed and listen to the soft music from my headphones.

"I very well know how pathetic-" starts Eijun and stands up. "But, you still have three years. Tehnically two and a half. Notice Masuko's been coming back really late? He's already in twelfth grade. He doesn't have any time left. I bet he's swinging his bat alone somewhere. He made an error in the last game. Just a single error, and he's off the starting line-up.

'I want to be the ace.', 'I want to bat cleanup.', 'I want to make the starters.', 'I want to play in the games.'

Everyone here wants it. The reality is we have roughly a hundred people fighting for nine spots. Only thows who do well will make it. The others have to wait for the next oppertunity. You're not the only one who feels hopeless" I slip off my headphones and look down from my bunk bed as Kuramochi finishes. He is sitting on the ground and looking at the magazine on his lap.

Eijun clenches his fists. He seems so angry. Kuramochi's back is turned to Eijun but he is looking at him from the corner of his eye. "If you walk in here looking depressid again, I'm kicking you out and I don't care what Akira will say."

Time goes on...

I wake up befour the sun rises and climb town the ladder of the bunk bed quietly. I'm in the top bunk bed and Kuramochi is on the oder top. Below me is Masuko, Eijun is below Kuramochi. When you come into the rolm their bunk is to the left, me and Masuko's is to the left.

I put on my training clothes and go out as quietly as I can, but don't lock it. I know that Eijun is coming out soon too. He's been running with me in the mornings recently.

I go to Field A and stretch for a bit and then start running. I don't have my heaphones and mp3 with me today, I wanted to run in quiet.

• 3rd person pow •

The door of the Seidou Spirit Dorm room 5 opens again.

This time it's the other twin. He also goes to Field A and strerches and starts running. He can see his brother on the other side of the field running. He isn't wearing his headphones and he is runninf quite fastly. Eijun is not going to try and catch him, because he would be worn out by the time he coucht up.

Later on two more people enter the field. "Coach Kataoka." It's Rei Takashima. "Do you really plan to make Sawamura Eijun give up as a pitcher and let Sawamura Akira just do what he wants?" She asks seriously. "They have only just joined, and we don't know their strengths yet. Isn't it a little too early to give the final verdicts? And... Eijun and Akira are the junior high schoolers who won against Azuma."

Finally, the sun raises. Kataoke and Rei both turn their heads towards the field and the raising sun. There, they see a boy running.

Rei raises her hand to block out the sun and see more clearly "Who's running so early in the morn-" Whooh!

Something flashes befour their eyes. It was so fast that they hardly saw it. Rei and Kataoka turn their heads towards the shadow going fastly further away from them.

"Sawamuras?" Asks Rei, still looking at the running kids who both haven't still seen the two adults on the field.

"Hmph. How in the world did Eijun throw such a naturally breaking ball almost ninety meter. However, a promise is a promise. I can't let him participate in practice as a pitcher yet. And how in the hell didn't we know that Sawamura Akira was a player in the Mercis Middle School? Rei, contact Mercis again, maybe they'll giva us more information about Akira now." Says Kataoka. Make them run until the sun sets.

"Coach Kataoka, I already called them about Akira, but they woulnd't give me any information." Says Rei.

"It doesn't matter, call them until they answer you're questions!" Ia Kataoka's final answer and he walks away.

Time goes on...

Sleeping, the only thing I love more than baseball. But someone disturbed it. It's the teacher...

In classes I sit next to Eijun and a moment ago we were both sleeping. Eijun because he was tired and me just because I like it.

"Hey! You guys again?! Is my lecture really that boring?! Well, Sawamuras?!" Yells the teacher. I open my eyes slowly and just look at the teacher and Eijun. Sawamura lasyly raices from the table, he's soo sleepy... He blinks for a few times and then falls back on to the table. "H-hey! Don't just sleep when I'm standing right next to you Sawamura! And the other Sawamura, I can see you're awake! Sit properly!" I just stay there and don't move.

"It's no use, teach." Says some boy sitting behind Eijun "They're apparently here on baseball scholarship."

"What?" Dumb teacher. Other classmates are wowed by that and they look at us with interest and talk about the school's baseball club.

"Really? That's amazing.", "Our baseball team is famous.", "I hear practice is really tough."

"You morons! That's exactly why I can't just let this slide! Everyone's gonna know who you are, so you'd better act appropriately!" The teacher's so angry.

"Eijun's not on our team, sir." Come's a voice behind my. That gets me and Eijun awake. I slowly raice from my not so comfortable position on the table and look behind me "What? What do you mean?!" Asks the teacher.

"Yeah, what the hell do you mean?!" Yells Eijun standing up.

"He's not officially on the team yet. He's still a trainee. Don't compare Eijun to us."

"But what about the other Sawamura?"

"He's actually alloved to participate in practice but he hasn't. It's his own choice."

"You, who talks thrash about Eijun right now. You better shut up. You're a trainee right now aswell. You're not on second or first string, so you aren't a player." My comment shuts everybody up. One because I don't usually say anything in class and second because I just told the blond guy behind me to shut up. With the conversation ending I lay down on the table again and clase my eyes. The teacher says something again but leaves me and Eijun alone and continues the lesson.
