"Love the TOMS" - One Direction Louis Fanfic

Part 17

Niall never failed to cheer me up and make me laugh. He suggested that we do something tomorrow to take my mind off everything. 

"So tomorrow, I'm taking you out.." He grinned. 

"Where are we going?" 

"It's a surprise."

"Okay then." I pretended to be annoyed with him. But he poked me. 

"Well, its late so I'm gonna go now, I'll pick you up at 8 tomorrow morning." 

"Thankyou for cheering me up Niall."

"Any time." He gave me a hug and then left. Once again I went to bed and fell asleep straight away.

I woke up at 7 so I had an hour to get ready for mine and Niall's day out. I got out of the shower and put on a pair of shorts and a strapless pink top. The weather had turned around and it was a beautiful day so I put on some brown sandals aswell. I went to do my hair and makeup but my eyes locked on mine and Louis' Stealth photo on my wall. Then I turned and saw the massive bear he won me at Thorpe Park on top of my wardrobe. I forced myself not to cry but it was so hard. I straightened my hair and clipped the sides to the back of my head. Then I applied my makeup, first putting on a thin layer of foundation because I never wear much, followed by quite a lot of mascara and a bit of eyeliner. To finish off, I put on some light pink lipgloss. Before I knew it, Niall was at my door. I said bye to mum and got in the car with him, I still didn't know where we were going, but I'm sure it would take my mind off Louis for a while. 

After about an hours drive we arrived at Kids World and he stopped the car. 

I looked at him like 'are you serious' but he just burst out laughing.

"C'mon, let's be kids again." Niall said, getting out the car, so I did the same. 

He grabbed my arm and we ran inside.

I didn't actually realise how thoughtful it was of Niall until afterwards. It completely took my mind off everything and we had so much fun. We left at about 3, so we spent most of the day there. When we were back in the car Niall said, "This isn't the end of our day, I've got something else lined up." He grinned and began driving. 

"You really don't have to, I've had so much fun today."

"But I want to, and who says you can't have more?" 

I accepted it and he continued driving to the next destination.

After another hour we arrived at a lake. There were little pedalow boats and a quiet café. I had always said that I wanted to go somewhere like this, but no one had ever taken me and I never went. I love how Niall knew me so well, he was such a good listener too. 

"Do you like it?" He asked me. 

"I actually love it." I replied. 

"Good." He smiled and we headed over to a boat. 

We went round the lake for ages just talking, until it began to get dark. At one point I reached down to get my phone from my bag to take a picture, but I couldn't find it so I was searching for a while. Finally, when I got it and got back up, Niall was watching what I was doing and our faces ended up right in front of each other, really close.
