The Call

It was a few weeks after Cheryl had met Toni and she hadn't called yet, she was waiting not wanting to sound desperate. Cheryl looked at her phone and sighed "Not yet Blossom." She stood up and went to hang out with Josie to try and keep her mind off of Toni. The girls danced around Josie's room and did karaoke, Cheryl collapsed on Josie's bed laughing. Josie looked at Cheryl and tilted her head "What's on your mind Cheryl?" Josie didn't know if something was going on but she felt like there was. Cheryl sighed "So I was at Pop's and this girl walks in and sits next to me she is pretty as hell and she gave me her number but what freaks me out is we kissed before she gave it to me and..." Josie's eyes widened "Wait slow down you kissed?" Cheryl nods "Yeah but it was like 2 seconds oh did I mention her hair it was shoulder length and had been dyed pink." Josie laughed and sat next to Cheryl "And why are you thinking about this?" Cheryl sighed "I still haven't callled her." Josie nods "Go ahead call I won't stop you if you really like her call." Cheryl picks up her phone and called she had put Toni's number in her phone already it rang twice before Toni answered "Hello?" Cheryl smiled "Hey Cha-cha." Josie rolled her eyes smiling Cheryl was as dorky as she was cute. Toni laughed "Oh back at it with the nickname?" Cheryl smiled "Yeah it fits you anyways wanna hang out later today?" There was silence for about a second "Sure why not met you at Pop's?" Cheryl looked at Josie and smiled as if quietly thanking her "Yeah see in a few?" Cheryl grabbed her bag and jacket as Toni reasponded "Yep bye." Cheryl hung up after saying bye and hugged Josie "Thank you!" Josie laughed "No problem Bombshell."
