Toni walked in with Sweet-Pea, Fangs, and Jughead it was almost silent until Sweet-Pea broke the silence, "So Topaz I saw you and the head cheerleader at Pop's yesterday." Toni looked up at her friend "Oh yeah we met a few weeks ago and she asked if I wanted to hang out at Pop's." Sweet-Pea nods "Nice catch." Toni punched him in the arm "Shut up." She said rolling her eyes and going to her locker and grabbing her books, she looked over at the redhead a few lockers down from her own and walked over to her "Hey Cheryl."

Cheryl turned around "What do you want Southside scum?" She said crossing her arms, Toni looked at her shocked "I was just saying hey." Cheryl rolled her eyes "Okay now leave Cha-Cha." She said making a motion to the Serpent boys, as she mouthed an apology

Toni sighs and goes to the bathroom, and texts Cheryl 'What the hell was that about?'

Cheryl who was sitting in the student lounge texted back 'Sorry Toni where are you right now, I'll explain in person ❤' she posted a selfie on her Instagram

Toni texted back 'The bathroom near the lounge'

Cheryl stood up "Excuse me for a moment." She said to Veronica and Betty who were talking about the new routine "Okay Cher." The raven haired girl said smiling

Cheryl walked into the bathroom "I'm sorry T.T, I don't normally make friends easily and I'm supposed to be HBIC, I didn't want to ruin my reputation."

Toni sighed "Cheryl why not?" She asked grabbing the other girl's hand

Cheryl smiled as Toni grabbed her hand "Because if I let anyone see what I'm like outside of school, no one will treat me with respect."

Toni sighed quietly and kissed her softly before she was interrupted by the bell "I'll see you after class so we can talk more, okay?" She smiled and turned to head to the door "And for what it's worth you'll be treated with more respect because you are so strong."

Cheryl smiled "Thanks Toni."

A/N: I couldn't go through with HBIC Cheryl so I did soft Choni which I probably should have said is going to be 99% of this fanfic you'll have to go elsewhere for your smut and angst but I hope you liked this chapter
