I am a little bit of loneliness, a little bit of disregard, handful of complaints but I can't help the fact that everyone can see these scars...

She may have made a solemn promise to Mike, but it was one she'd have to break.

She couldn't believe she'd even agreed to such a thing. She couldn't go to a party. She could hardly move around the house.

Sitting on the couch, she flicked through the channels as she stared at the TV. A distraction would be good. She could put breaking Mike's heart aside for later. She could also put his false hope aside too. God only knows he's put her aside for long enough.

"Well isn't that surprising" she muttered, as Linkin Park came on the TV, one of the music channels. One Step Closer. Oh my god, the cringe was real, she thought, as she watched her boyfriend jump around, screaming and rapping with his bright red hair. Even Chester was different, with his bleach blonde spikes. But Chester often went through a number of different looks.

Rob also had a shaved head. Olivia managed to make a mental note of this.

Mike's phone suddenly started ringing, scaring the living daylights out of Olivia. She'd told him many a great time to put that piece of unintelligent crap on silent, and most of the time he listened. But clearly not this time.

"MIKEY, YOUR PHONE IS RINGING. ANSWER IT BEFORE I THROW IT FROM THE THIRD FLOOR BALCONY" Olivia yelled. She wasn't even in a bad mood today. She'd woken up feeling extra hungry than usual. She hadn't been eating much lately, just a few things here and there. She couldn't let Mike see her eating a bowl of cereal though. He might judge it and throw her in the mental ward again.

"God, you're a joy to wake up to in the morning" Mike said, rubbing his eye as he stumbled into the room, banging his shoulder on the doorway. He'd woken up when Olivia got out of bed - and how could he not with the noise she caused, accidentally knocking a vase over and smashing it. But that still didn't mean he wasn't exhausted.

"I do try" Olivia said, as she continued writing in her exercise book that Brad had got her for her birthday. The 15th of February. And he couldn't even deliver it to her in person. Mike had to give it and wipe it down with disinfectant when her fear of germs was seriously bad.

"Really. You try" Mike said, but it came out as more of a question.

"Just make that thing shut up before I kill it with fire!" Olivia screamed. Phones gave her anxiety. She had one, but she threw it in the bath once after her number had somehow gone viral and she'd been attacked by fans. She couldn't say she was sorry to see that waste of time gone. Mike's management now ran her accounts, and if anyone wanted to contact her, it had to be through Mike.
