Confession Time - when I was proofreading over that last chapter, I actually teared up. Wtf. It wasn't even about Olivia, it was just...remember the part about Chester? How I said Rob was expecting him to walk in after Dave? Ya. That. And also, the 'out of habit, Mike hovered around Brad' that was supposed to be a reference to how Chester and Mike would always listen in on the boys' conversations in my book. Never mind. I'm an idiot. I try to be a good author but I fail to the rising challenges I set myself. Plus, I still hate the new keyboard. I am pissed off at Apple for that.

And no I will not use my laptop instead.

...

I've got an aching head - echoes and buzzing noises, I know the words we said, but wish I could've turned our voices down, this is not black and white - only organised confusion, I'm just 'tryna get it right, and in spite of all I should've done, I was not mad at you, I was not trying to tear you down, the words that I could've used I was too scared to say out loud, if I cannot break your fall I'll pick you up right off the ground, if you felt invisible, I won't let you feel that now.

...

Mike and Olivia. Olivia and Mike. It always seemed to fit perfectly.

Olivia stumbled into the tattoo parlour drunk off her face as she sat down in a chair. No customers were in, just her.

"Liv?" Madeline asked as she messed around with a bottle of ink.

"Get rid of it" Olivia said, taking her singlet off and throwing it on the floor.

"Why? I thought you loved it?" Madeline asked, horrified. Olivia had never acted this way over a tattoo before. She only had three; one of Rob's name on her wrist (previously removed by a furious mother), the Linkin Park logo on her other wrist, and this new one that Olivia suddenly hated.

"Yeah, turns out he doesn't" Olivia slurred, as she skulled down the liquid in her bottle. She didn't care. She was planning on getting drunker than she'd ever been.

"Oh Olivia" Madeline said, as she started getting the removal machine ready.

"Do you like have an ice pack or something?" Olivia asked. Maddie cringed. It was the way Olivia talked when she was drunk that annoyed her, the overuse of the word 'like' every five seconds.

"Why?" Madeline asked, rubbing the tattoo down.

"My tummy...it's all bruised and sore. I don't know how I'm still breathing...or alive" Olivia said. That's when Madeline noticed she'd walked in hunched over. She thought that was just the alcohol taking effect again.

"He hit you" Madeline stated, as she called her colleague over and asked her to get some ice from the freezer.

"It was my fault, I shouldn't have gotten the tattoo" Olivia sighed. Ice was soon brought out to her, and placed on her extremely painful looking abdomen. He must've kicked her hard.
