Kami knew what to do.
And she was going to change everything.
She called the Shinigami.
"What do you need?" The Shinigami said as he appeared in front if the God.
"I am requesting the soul of Minato Namikaze, the former 4th Hokage of Konohagakure." Kami said.
"...Sure, I would like to see him crying and bawling somewhere else instead of my stomach. He hasn't stopped crying for 13 years... well except once when his son beat the shit out of the Suna Jinchuriki." The Shinigami replied.
"If you may, I would like the soul now." Kami said with a smile.
"Sure sure... now where is he.... There he is." He Shinigami said as he pulled out Minato from his stomach (Ew).
"WHAT THE HELL YOU BLOODY DEATH GOD?! WHY DID YOU TAKE ME OUT?! I'LL RIP YOUR GUTS OUT IF YOU HAVE ANY!!!" A very angry Minato screamed.
"Talk about anger issues... He's gotten worse over the years..." Shinigami sighed as he put the angry soul down in front of Kami.
"Thank you. You may go now." Kami said.
"Tch. You owe me a meal." The death god mumbled as he disappeared.
"Ahahaha, now thats done, Minato Namikaze, I am going to give two two options." Kami said.
"And those are..?"
"Would you rather stay as you are in The Shinigami's stomach, or have a second chance and-"
"-My answer obviously is to go back and have a second chance! THANK YOU SO MUCH I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU ARE DOING THIS BUT THANK YOU-"
"Woah woah calm down Namikaze. I am doing this... because I have also seen your son's life and you in the death god's stomach. I wasn't able to grant your wishes straightaway because I knew how stubborn the Shinigami was, but...
...When I heard your son's prayers today, it moved me to doing what I am doing now." Kami said with sadness and guilt in her voice as she closed her eyes.
"...Thank you..." Minato said with his head down.
Kami opened her eyes.
When the man looked back up, he was crying.
He was crying tears of...
Happiness.
The red in his eyes disappeared and the colour came back to his face.
Kami saw this and smiled.
She knew that she had done what was right and she was sure that she wasn't going to regret it.
"Now go, and change that boy's life." She calmly stated.
"I won't let you or him down." Minato said with a smile.
A bright light appeared and Minato found himself in the Hokage's office.
Minato was back.
And he was going to change everything.
