"Shot, shot, shot!" Words were being yelled and slurred tongues that tried to stand still. The DJ increased the sound of the music pumping throughout the room as the room filled with the smoke that was released from the machines next to him.
I was having the time of my life, finally losing the chains that had been around me since I was born, finally away from my parents. My best friend, Amber, handed me another shot as I took it eagerly, chugging it down quickly so I wouldn't taste it. I had promised my self two shots but the night was utterly wild to only have a few.
Amber and I were in a corner, dancing and drinking with each other. She was getting slightly drunk, standing was becoming harder for her. She said something, but the music was so loud I only nodded at her as she gently let go of my hands. I put them up in the air as I danced with the music.
As the music flowed inside my ears and pumped the blood throughout my body, a hard shoulder shoved past me. I ignored, getting high from the music when another person bumped into me, shoving me back. "Hey!" I yelled but the music drowned my words as more people continued to push me back. Shoulders innocently shoving me back as I struggled to push away from them when...
I was suddenly outside, the music was now coming from behind me. Confused, I turned around and saw I wasn't in the college party but in a concert. There was a concert behind the party? I thought as I listened to the music, but nothing sounded familiar. Maybe it's a new band.
As I made my way towards the front, I began to notice eerie things. Maybe it was because I was a bit drunk. One girl seemed to have a snake tongue and a boy seemed to have an ear where his eye was. I shook my head as I tried to look for my friend.
"You aren't supposed to be here." A hand stretched out and seized my wrist. I gazed up to see a security guard. "Come with me." His grip toughened as I reacted by twisting my arm, releasing myself.
"No," I replied as he strived to grab me again but I screamed.
His body was thrown against the wall, and that made my yelling stop. The music halted as the man groaned and then he hissed aloud. I gasped as his blue eyes turned black and then his hand erupted into a wolf hand. He lurched towards me but I raised my hand, almost obligatory, and his body was thrown to the side, making people gasp. I shifted around as the people began to gaze and mumble.
"Stop her!" The man growled as his body crumpled. I was appalled, bewildered. A girl, with electric blue hair, advanced forward and she then susurrate something and balled her fingers into a fist. I felt cold air hover around my body but nothing happened as the girl's angry expression slipped into confusion. Suddenly, she removed a knife from her pocket and flipped it open. She suddenly thrust towards me as my hand forced itself to raise up and abruptly the girl stopped in her steps.
She collapsed to the ground, screeching in agony as her body froze in place. Another teenager stepped forward, grabbing the electric-haired girl and looked at me in terror. She screamed at me as the electric-haired girl began to bleed from her nose. I gasped and noticed what I had caused. I saw numerous set of eyes meet mine and they all stared me in rage.
"She's a witch!" A person yelled as the teenager let go of the bleeding girl. She took the knife from her and then jumped at me. I cried out as the knife sliced my arm and I glanced at her angry eyes. I was confused at their sudden and intense anger. A witch? Are they joking? I wanted to laugh but when the girl gazed at me with such infuriated eyes, I knew that they weren't joking.
"No, No, I am human!" I had no concept of what was happening and why the world was spinning. Swiftly, I was gripped by two bodies and the girl smirked as I attempted to escape. She flexed her arm as she raised the knife. I could see that she had a tattoo that reached her forehead and went downwards towards her neck.
"That is enough!" A voice bellowed as the girl froze in place. She dropped the knife and then something sharp pierced my neck. I gasped in anguish as I was dropped to the floor and felt my body going numb.
"I'm human." I began to repeat my words, unable to stop. The world began to go silent. "I'm human." I could barely hear myself speak. Everything began to go hazy as if I was slowly going blind. I fought against my own mouth who wanted to stay still as I closed my eyes.
"I'm human."
