"La la la la, wait til I get my money right..." Patty hummed a familiar Kanye song as I grabbed his hand and proceeded to skip down the sidewalk.

"Aws, what's up with Geoff? He seems out of it." Patty commented as we strolled hand-in-hand by storefronts.

"I don't really know, he seemed fine last night when we were eating but this morning he was sad again."

"Well ask him later, I'm a little worried." Patty said, stopping to stare through the window of a cupcake store.

"You hungry?" I laughed as he pressed his face to the glass.

"Yeah, a little." He laughed. I pulled him inside the store, the bell above the door announcing our arrival.

I bought a vegan cupcake for Patty and a cinnamon roll for myself, and we sat down at a little table near the front window.

"This is good." Patty remarked, consuming the cupcake at an alarming rate.

"You owe me for that one, one cupcake was like eight dollars." I acted annoyed jokingly, and Patty sighed and put his hands on the table.

"How can I ever repay your kindness?" He asked in a sarcastic tone. I pretened to think about it for a while.

"Well, do you wanna make out?" I asked, half joking and half serious. Patty was attractive, but I didn't really get feelings. I just haven't met the right person, the one who can make me settle down for real.

"I'm down." Patty said with a wide smirk.

A little while later, in the now empty As It Is and Chapel bus, we were doing exactly what I'd proposed.
