Vingen
It had been three days in total. And the whereabouts of Greene, still unknown.
I was starting to lose confidence, I knew that. But still, I kept telling me every minute that, fate would eventually bring us together. And what I was waiting eagerly was for the fate to turn up for me.
But how could she not be known even after deploying such large number of spies!! Impossible.
I had had much staying in bed. Although I was sick, but still the situations weren't like for me to take a rest. My hands and feet had swollen, eyes sunken into the sockets, making me look like a skull and my body weak as if I hadn't eaten a bread for ages. I knew I looked terrible, I'd eventually get scared of my own shadow if I looked into the mirror.
And on top of that, I felt restless. My head had its temperature rising up, and even in my dreams I saw her going away, far away. This thought haunted me and I was mentally very disturbed.
While, I lay in bed, I suddenly saw a newspaper on the side table, displaying my face.

My phone suddenly vibrated as I was looking out of the window. I took it off my pocket and the caller ID revealed it was Miss Portobello.
"Hello" I answered.
"Vingen. You need to immediately be at the outskirts of the Brinpuda, the eastern part where the locals stay. " Portobello said quick.
"I would, but currently I am in an extreme condition, I don't think I can come there for no reason. " I said politely.
"You dumbass, Plexi goes missing you don't tell us, and now since we want to hear an explanation, you refuse to meet u-"
"No! It's nothing like that" I interrupted.
I took a deep breath.
"Okay, I'm coming" I finally said. They needed to know the truth. It was really wrong of me to no tell them.
"You better do" Portobello hung up with her last sentence.

I landed on my helicopter to an open ground in the local inhibitors place. I searched the coffee shop they'd texted me in the Google Maps, and went to it.
The place was a dried out one. It was made up of worn out tin pieces, and big stones above them, to keep them from being blown away by the storm. There were only few table and chairs and they too were either broken or old. As I entered the place, strong smell of tea powder hit my nose, and I scrunched my nose as a response. I ran my eyes around the small area searching for Portobello.
The weather was windy, and so was my heart. First, I had no success in finding Greene and then Portobello, who trusted me so much, I didn't tell her about Greene earlier myself, that must have pissed her off.
